Said on another thread that it reminded me of the Southend game first half. Well the first 20 mins did anyway.

Think there were enough positive signs in the second half though.

Two major concerns for me were the fact we still look just as impotent as last season and Wolves haven’t played a game for 7 weeks and looked a million times sharper than we did.

Our first team have only played 45 minutes together in Dundee since Southampton.

JOC injured, most of the squad buggered off on international duty.

Lost the cup game against Crewe, so I think it was L4 in all competitions.

I don’t think it’s complicated. Wolves have a squad of better quality players and a good management team.
They bring on players from the bench we can only dream of signing.
Let’s concentrate on beating those outside the top 7/8.

Warning signs towards the end of last season that the first team needed improving with that level up of a player to make us more diverse in our play due to additional quality, we haven’t improved the first 11 as it seems opting for more depth, we are currently experiencing a transition point in terms of our future it seems, so do we have enough to compete in mid table or will we be fighting at the bottom.

It was Sep 2013 under Weir i think. 6 league defeats in a row. Including a 2-0 defeat to Wolves.

The run of defeats was brought to an end by an outstanding home draw v the mighty Crawley Town, with popular Blades legend Marlon King scoring the equaliser.
