If we are looking for bold statements and sticking two fingers up to the PL elite, it would be Chris Wilder spending half this window getting the pre-League 1 band back together... Ramsdale, Calvert-Lewin... he goes and gets Che Adams n all and I'll wet myself laughing at the audaciousness of the man

There's zero chance it's DCL unless Everton are about to sign x3 very expensive strikers, even then he'd go Spurs or somewhere.

DCL would be an incredible signing! Almost as good as Brewster...

Tell you what, since DCL left, I've barely rated him. Couldn't believe he was off to Everton and the PL, then that they made him the main striker, then that they gave him the #9 shirt at such a prestigious club. I didn't see what the fuss was about, didn't think it was warranted. He doesn't look like an out and out goalscorer and gives lots of endeavour and runs the channels, but not much more.

But then, you suggest him, and for the first time I'm thinking, he'd be perfect for us. I mean, it'd never happen, Everton wouldn't let him go and if they would, we couldn't get near the asking price, but he'd be perfect for us.
