Hi guys...LFC fan here in peace. Firstly ive ready through some posts on here...Liverpool recognised that Woodburn isnt up to it. I highly doubt that is an issue. Woodburn is an ok player but his top speed is slower then mine and im a fat lad so...yea.
I think this gets done for a few reasons. We dont play with a traditional number 9 which Brewster absolutely is. He isnt built like one but he just finds space and slots. Im not sure if this is going to be a loan or sell with a buy back clause but either way i think its a good deal for you guys.
I subscribe and pay for the biggest LFC fanbase podcast and not one person has said we should let him go so that should speak volumes. We dont even want him loaned...we see our forwards as Firmino, Brewster, Origi in that order and only one of them scored in the semi and final of the Champions league.
Oh and for the DCL shouts...Brewster had a 1 in 2 record last season playing for a club on loan at 19...stop the comparison there. He scored half the amount of goals DCL has at Everton in his career in a few months. Ollie Watkins just signed for Villa for an outrageous sum. When he was Rhains age he was playing in League TWO and even then he had a 1 in 3.5 record.
I honestly believe Brewster is a generational talent. He'll do wonders at Sheffield United should it happen.
Nice post fella.....no need for the 'come in peace' bit, all anyone has to do is be mature and intelligent, and your post was certainly that.
I'm a big admirer of what Klopp's done at Liverpool. He's bought and sold intelligently, Coutinho being the perfect example as his sale helped strengthened your team considerably. You've got some outstanding players, and no doubt Klopp is active looking at other players should one of your players seek a move. You were so right about Woodburn, he arrived with a big reputation and was a classic case of flattering to deceive. Don't mean the lad any harm but unless there's a sudden outburst of obvious talent then his chances of playing for you guys, in the Prem, or maybe even a top end Champ side seem slim. When loan players come here we want them to succeed, Dean Henderson being a great example, but at least Dean had a great defence in front of him.
We have an exceptional manager in Wilder, he's been the reason why we rose from the depths of Div.1 to the top ten of the Prem, and all in four seasons with budgets that most managers would turn their noses up at. We spent £22 million on a young Norwegian player last season and for us that was an outrageous fee to spend, but Berge's a great prospect, intelligent, good technical skills, and very likeable, so he's definitely a player we have high hopes for.
If Brewster does arrive at United he'll be well looked after, we have a great dressing room, and the players will make sure he feels completely at home. Hope it comes off as he seems to have all the attributes of a quality goal-scorer.......thanks for the post.
