How many are allowed for the next season ?
They had increased it to five which obviously benefitted the richer clubs with bigger quality squads, but had it now been reduced to the previous 3 from 5?

Premier League clubs have voted against allowing teams to make five substitutions per game in the 2020/21 season. Top-flight teams will therefore return to being permitted three substitutes each per game, while the number of players allowed on the bench will return to seven, in line with pre-coronavirus regulations.6 Aug 2020

Clubs reconsidering not using 5 subs. New vote on September 3rd to decide. If it passes I expect an annoyed gaffer and possibly a change of transfer tactic

It sounds like the big 6 want to impose it on the PL to cater for their huge squads whilst we can hardly put a bench out next season Unless we include multiple keepers.

Either that or Dean Smiff needs it to cater for all the Blades targets they are chasing.

Seriously we need another 6/7 players over the 2x transfers windoes

Its a disgrace to bring back 5 subs after it was voted down.

Will we have a squad big enough to have any substitutes .... ?
