Cheers Dean Henderson

“Our” Deano has now disappeared down a rabbit hole. He’ll probably resurface again in the championship in a couple of years.

If Hendo does opt to be a MU bench warmer. I’ll wager that Ramsdale becomes an England regular before he does.

Probably the best loan signing ever, one where both clubs & the player have gained massively (buggar) for the experience. All the best to Dean moving on, it has been a pleasure to have him here.

Helped get us promoted, then helped us remain a Prem club.

Superb 'keeper and we'll do well to get anyone comparable. Great personality and never gave less then 100%. The occasional gaff but they were rare. The single most important memory was just how good our defence became with Dean in goal.

Are we judging him on his character and the great memories he was part of?
Or his ability as a keeper?
for me, a bit of both. Leeds away meant so much to him And us as he came off towards us. A great memory.
But it’s time to move on and build that defence for the next five years.
the king is dead long live the king!

Been a fabulous ride for both parties
.
Henderson has got top class games winning promotion and some great displays and oodles of clean sheets as a defence
Our defence has a tried and tested system Ramsdale will benefit from.
Both made great strides in 2 seasons

He is a man Utd player so we have to go our own way
Think it's turned out well

Are we sure that he won’t be here on loan? Where else can he go, maybe him and Ramsdale fighting for a spot is the plan.

I know this is unlikely but you never know.
Moore can go, he’s not an able deputy really and didn’t push for Deanos place. Verrips as third choice.

Hey Princey, instead of him sitting on Manc Poos bench, give him a season ticket to the lane, theres a spare seat next to me, il even buy him a beer every game 👍

The best loan signing, not one of, he has been immense, will be welcomed back at bdtbl no matter what shirt he wears ....cheers deano

Beyond our reach due to the money madness OGS is offering. We are the best thing that happened for Deano/Hendo I wish him well, just hope he doesn't end up the next Jack Butland.

Average keeper, only looked good due to our stellar defence.

I jest of course! All the best Dean!

Cheers Deano! Going to be missed big time . Hard act to follow for sure .

Just remember Dean , once a Blade always a Blade . Good luck fellow 👍

Brilliant keeper for us. I hope Man U give him a chance. If they don’t then let him go. He is on the verge of being England’s number 1 imo and I hope the chance doesn’t pass him due to Man U not playing him or letting him go.

The Best , ..............but no matter what he wins in Salford , i doubt he will ever get another chance at crowd surfing . Football sempt to mean more than money to Dean , but i suppose with greedy people in your ear , its hard not to follow the cash. , One injury away from retirement and all that .

McAlister, Rees, Kelly, Hendo. Goalkeeper snakes and ladders and Blades always landing on snakes.

I hope he goes aboad.
For his career, and because like a jealous ex I'm not ready to see him in another kit just yet (although the bigger waste would be to see him sat on someone's bench all season in that new kit).

I cant remember such a young man with so much passion and enthusiasm for the game, especially when we weren't even his parent club.
His character alone is probably going to take him to the top let alone all his physical attributes.

Reading some of the posts and messages on social media he has always seemed a lovely lad too that whilst seemingly having the world heat his feet - still kept his head on his shoulders.

Its a huge thanks from me.
I known some fans felt a bit let down, some blaming greed, agents, money etc that we aren't able to keep him but he isn't just a fan of the biggest team in the world but he's already their player.

Amazing cameo with us and I wish him nothing but luck with his career going forward domestically and internationally.

Been a great keeper last 2 years and matured a lot last season cutting out some of the early erratic errors and become a lot more composed , certainly won us a lot of points with some outstanding saves during his time here .
I think he took a gamble personally trying to force Man U’s hand and may have backfired on him somewhat with them asking for all his wages to be paid by the club taking him on loan , that really limits the list & in terms of who can afford this and there not gonna loan out to another potential Champions League qualifying rival .
With Man U taking this stance it may be better to for him to move on permanently somewhere , Chelsea & Spurs were supposedly interested in him & Nick Pope and are in the small bracket of teams that can pay the reported £170k a week wage demands other than that I can only see him loaned abroad ?
I wish the lad all the best and if he continues his development he’ll def be pushing for the England No 1 jersey and will always get a warm welcome in this half of Sheffield.
From our own perspective I think bringing in Ramsdale another very good young keeper on permanent basis is the right move for us moving forward .
Good luck Deano the last 2 years has been a marriage made in heaven for both parties , time to turn the page ⚔

Article in Daily Star of all papers saying Hendo has been offered back to us for next season, but the terms financial were just too big and would’ve cost the club £6m

One of the best loan signings any club has ever made. Not just this one. But there comes a time to part ways, and this is it. We couldn’t loan him forever, we’d have to spend on our own keeper eventually.

If you’d just told them to shove it and forced the move Dean, you might not be looking at a season on the bench... such a shame.
We were only ever a pawn in his Man United number 1 master plan. And I don’t blame him for that. But he’s on a hiding to nothing and I fear he might be about to waste a season...

Good luck to one of the best.

Romero dropped tonight, De Gea gets the shirt.......any major bollocks dropped tonight and the shirt might be Dean’s.

I hope he goes aboad.

Fantastic post mate.

To me, the most frustrating part of it all is that Henderson probably just wants to come back here to play, but the loan arrangements are scuppering him. If that doesn't indicate to him that his parent club is currently poorly run, then nowt will.

No bollocks dropped by De Gea but Man U dumped out of Europe so where does it leave Hendo? Although not the complete keeper yet Hendo just became too expensive for us where we are at the moment. I doubt there will be many takers in the Premier League at £100k per week unless he is loaned to one of the London clubs or Villa who seem to like throwing money at things. Unless he is loaned out abroad he has a hard choice to make either a season as back up with just a few cup games or put in for a permanent move away from Old Trafford, a season at #2 will do the lad no good at all.
It's been great having him here for the last two seasons he has made mistakes but he has improved with us and won us more points than he lost. I wish him all the best for the future except when he comes back in another shirt, a top keeper and professional on and off the field.

If Hendo does opt to be a MU bench warmer. I’ll wager that Ramsdale becomes an England regular before he does.
Now that's just crazy talk, a United first teamer getting picked for England before a Big 6 bench warmer. Not happening.
