It’s very hard to judge him on games he hasn’t played, can only judge on what we’ve seen

We're short of players as it is, so keeping someone like him around is important and one less positiOn for Tufty to try and fill. Could even give us bandwidth to gamble on a young CCB if we find one...

Agreed Dane, always come across as intelligent and knows the club inside out. Easy to see him and Billy being groomed as the next generation of coaches and potentially managers

I personally don't think he will be in the top 5 highest earners.
Especially on this final extension.

If he's taking a pay cut, I'm fine with this. Capable back-up and good around the squad. I think the reality is we don't have too much money to be spending on back-ups, so he's a cost effective option when we're not exactly flush with cash at the moment. At the right price on Jags I also don't think it completely rules out signing someone else who could cover that position either, for those worrying about whether Jags will be Egan's primary back-up again for another full season.
