We must have some decent youngsters to bring in at some point. Surely this last match is a chance to "blood" one or two of them.
What happened to that lad who was on loan out in N Ireland and scored a goal from long range, and looked pretty good on all accounts?

Every single one of the current crop is absolutely miles away from being good enough for the first team. David Parkhouse, who I think it who you were referring to in your post, was struggling to get a game at Stevenage.
Utd's rapid rise through the leagues has accentuated the issue of the limitations of the current Cat 2 Academy - it struggles to recruit and develop talent good enough to push for inclusion in the first team due to the pulling power of Cat 1 Academies in the area, hence the change in personnel and planned investment.
The results won't be immediate but at least the club is taking steps in the right direction.

I doubt we have any youngsters good enough. Remeber we didnt have a full subs bench for 3 games during lockdown.

Now Leeds have recently been awarded Cat 1 status, it only going to get harder. You can see why Wilder sees it as a priority to improve the training ground and acedamy.
