I never fail to agree with everything he says.

I like having a moan up on here as much the next man and I usually calm down after about half an hour but I know everything I've seen, CW has seen and will want a reaction. It feels so good to have a manager who isn't bullshitting the fans.

His interview after the Leicester game was probably the best reaction to a defeat I've ever seen a United manager give. Some might think he went over the top, but I really don't care. He's a winner, and he doesn't like not winning.

I don't think it does. It all depends how you spend it and quality of manager and the quality of player you sign for that kind of money.

It will most likely be Lunny.

Basham keeps doing interviews and going on about how he loves it here. I'd be very surprised if Basham leaves as I doubt he will have amazing offers from elsewhere.

If Lunny goes then I don't think he's irreplaceable, he's looked pretty average in the recent games, whereas Berger gets better and more composed.

Bash on the othr hand, he was MOM for me today, and the player of the season in my view. I'd be really sad to see him go as others have said. He may be 31 and soon to be 32, but he's had such a good season and I think we need to strengthen elsewhere without needing to buy a replacement for Bash, and I think we'd struggle to find a player of equal quality within our budget. But, hopefully this is just a rumour and he'll re-sign in the next few weeks!

I see your point but if a player lets an agent do all the talking and then the deal doesn't get done because of the demands of the agent, on behalf of the player, than the player is complicit as far as I'm concerned. I wish we were back in the late 80's when players agents were a rarity or players had their dad talking on behalf of a players like sir Bob Booker!

If Bash leaves it'll be a shock though because I just didn't see that coming.

I'm not even vaguely ITK, but I suspect Bash will be after a 3 year deal. I'd be very surprised if he were to move on.

I suspect the issues are with Lunstram. Whilst I do hope we resolve this issue, I think he's fairly replaceable. His performances have been far from the best of late and we don't need anyone who doesn't want to be here.

I just hope we can hold on to the back 5, be a real shame to lose JOC or Egan.

Where‘s the ‘threatening to go on a free in December’ comment come from? I’ve not listened to Wilder’s interview. Did he say that?

Well back at the start of the season I looked at the teams in the Premier league and thought there were 10 top half sides and then the rest so in effect a 10 team mini league where we needed to stay out of the bottom 3. I expected us to finish around 14th but we have done much better than that we have won the mini league and shook a few up in the top 10.
Whatever happens next week we have had a great season and will finish in the top 10 mini league. I honestly think if Covid 19 had not come along we would have done even better possibly top 6 and into Europe but the break gave other teams the chance to get their top players back from injury. Of course the water breaks and substitution changes all played into the hands of the established PL clubs with larger better quality squads and we lost most of the loan players too at a vital stage where games were coming every few days. If we have looked a little jaded since the lockdown you can't really blame the players we just don't have backup that can come into games without losing a little bit of the quality.
Next season will be a struggle not only for us but all sides outside the big six who still have it in them to spend huge sums of money on any player they choose.

I can see the logic I suppose but it doesn’t necessarily mean that. Selling Egan this summer may be what’s best for the club if Wilder believes he won’t get a better price for him and/or he knows where he could spend the money.
