We didn't allow them to turn up. We were great today.

Look, it was a great win.
But I said at 0-0 that Spurs were terrible, and said at 1-0 that the game was over.

I think performances have been better than tonight, the result, obviously not.
Not sure why my opinion offends you.

We didn't. But they were also terrible. We looked far the sharper of the two teams.

We were definitely tiring a little physically before the second, but they didn't look "match fit" mentally or skill wise at all. Guess that's what 9 days off does to you after a 3 month break.

I was worried we'd start to lose a bit of confidence, but we showed some class and determination tonight and I reckon this was the shot in the arm we badly needed that'll get us over the line.
Onwards and upwards!

Despite all the pundits creaming themselves over Spurs did Hendo have much to do ? United are back ⚔⚔⚔

Our two best players are out injured another key one Lundstram is sidelined and Flecks natural replacement is also out. We've just had our worst period of the season where we haven't won for four games. The pundits are knocking us telling us we told you you're seasons gone, the fans are frustrated because the energy levels and commitment for the first 28 games haven't been there. Players are out of form and confidence levels are low. Even the Manager is questioning what has gone wrong. Spurs are one of our main challengers for a Euro spot.

All that is why tonights performance is the performance of the season because despite all the set backs, despite our paper thin squad we've made a team full of expensive International players look second best.

Then again as a supporter of another EPL team we are used to the post match jibe the opposition obviously didn't turn up because they were playing Sheffield United.

Stop this pathetic small club mentality.
I've spent a few weeks telling 'fans' on here how 'moronic' they look for criticizing McBurnie/Berge and also criticizing Wilder for 'Wasting' money on them.
Tonight I said at 0-0 that Spurs looked very rusty, I said at 1-0 the game was over and Spurs didn't have the energy to play at the intensity to play at the level required to get back into it.
I've done nothing but praise Wilder/Berge/McBurnie, even Baldock who I gave my player of the season to for his remarkable consistency after stepping up to this level for the first time.

You force your incorrect agenda and i'll stick to my opinions.

We’ve defiantly played better.
But considering the form we were in and the players missing. I’m absolutely over the moon!

I wouldn't even rank it in the top 5 performances of the season.

It's a great result, particularly given the injuries, the recent form & the level of the opposition - but we've played far better than tonight.

You questioned a Blade that this was not our best performance of the season and said there were better ones. Please tell us which ones they were and why? After giving you a list of valid reasons why this was you take up a defensive mode and list the praise you have given in the past.

You're entitled to an opinion but as an Leicester fan don't expect an easy ride when you try to suggest the opposition were poor when we win and make no reference to the fact they were probably poor because of our game plan and the efforts of the team.

As for an incorrect Agenda and pathetic small club mentality haven't got a clue what your on about? Must have touched a raw nerve?

It doesn't, you're just so far off the mark fella. You wouldn't recognise a decent performance if you tripped over one, that's all.

Considering joc, fleck and lunny all out and Freeman too yes. But in terms of on the pitch performance....not our best. Not a knock just our own very high standards. Delighted. Last two games we have looked far more like ourselves.

Burnley at home was better for me.
The Burnley 3-0 was complete control over the 90 minutes.

Spurs had a fair few openings tonight and imo should have gone ahead, had they had the sharpness they were missing.

The 'Small club mentality' i'm referring to is this idea that everybody hates you.
If you actually didn't look to conform to this agenda all the time, you will realise i'm saying that Sheffield United deserve more credit for other performances than they were given.

Spot on

Much more like it, great performance against a so-called top 4 team.

Dodged a bullet on the VAR call when Robinson went chasing the ball instead of Harry Kane but other than that, no complaints at all. Three biggest money signings, three goals and some great contributions. They all looked at it from minute one and punished Spurs who were pretty crap, Mourinho has had his day based on that.

Back to what we've come to expect and optimistic of a result against Burnley who were one of the poorest teams to come to the Lane in a long time

The equaliser after a minute changed the game, it was a questionable one but in my view balanced up the one at their place. If that had gone against us I would not be happy, but I really enjoyed watching us tonight, when I saw JOC, Fleck and Lunny out I was worried and when Olly put a fore arm against their player I thought he may have got a second yellow, HOWEVER, brilliant tonight lads.

Burnley was a good performance but we had a full side out and were on a good run of form. Spurs away was probably the most complete performance where we played them off the park but thanks to VAR creating a new rule regarding the second phase we lost two points. Man United at Home for 70 minutes was the best we had played this season.

Yet in terms of performance taking into account all the factors I listed tonight was the best because it lifted a cloud over the Club in terms of players, fans and Managers confidence that we were still capable of producing the efforts of the first 28 games.

No -one is conforming to any Agenda on this forum the simple fact is and has been for the last three years the post match comments of opposition fans have in the main referred to the fact their team didn't perform well as the reason why they lost to SUFC. Recognition has mainly centred on our work rate, shape effort etc etc. Tonight we scored 3 well crafted goals with flowing passing movements yet you can guarantee the papers will be full of us outworking the opposition and the disallowed VAR goal rather than references to our technical ability or the tactical acumen of Chris Wilder and Alan Knill. Thats fact not an agenda or small team mentality. It is consistent with how the majority of the media and pundits have reported on us this season and is open to challenge.
