I have now listened to all of Wilder's interviews from last night , straight forward - honest - says as it is ..... remember the frigging Adkins interviews !!...remember how we played under him ? remember where we were !!! . We are 8th..... EIGHTH .... in the premiership,,, ON MERIT in fact if VAR had waited another year we would probably be in Europe now ?. He doesn't even accept mitigating circumstances - IE. imagine the lift the team would have had if the Villa goal was given , and lets be honest what happened could more or less only happen to the Blades !, the Newcastle sending off and Stevens weird cock plus our small squad finally starts getting injuries has left the team disjointed and lacking a bit of confidence . Yes we are not playing well at the moment BUT ... I am 70 yrs old so I have seen lot's of Blades teams and this one has given us more than anything " and I will say it now " probably better than the Currie / Woody era and I never thought I would ever be able to say that !!. So stop being so bloody hyper critical , the Gods even sent a frigging pandemic to try and stop us ... remember we still have Chris Wilder . UTB..

True he didn't fob us off at all. Just disappointed that he hyped the players up so much during lockdown about being fit and ready when it looks like we are not.

That said I trust Wilder to put it right, as he always has done.

agree 100% with this. They went big on social media about how in shape they were and ready if called in to action. In reality they a far from it.

It is probably the first time I have felt a bit let down by Wilder. Although I realise he usually backs his players publicly even though behind the scenes he isn't happy. So I doubt he was ever going to say that we are not ready to restart.

His Radio Sheffield interview was the most dejected I think I've heard him after a game. Sounded proper frustrated with the players. Honest as always.

He was a bit happier in his Sky interview towards the end. Hopefully because he knows JOC should be back for the next match.

Wilder probably is of the realisation, that i am now coming around to, for the first time in living memory we are full steam ahead to a European place, playing the best football in 50 years all going well, all of us even believing Tufty has changed the Bramall Lane ethos and mentality, for us older Blades we have never know anything like it....then obviously the Bladesey thing happens , the out of the blue circumstance that not even we could have predicted---a global pandemic , the worst for 100 years...

As a Blade you kind of expected it, but as the season ticked on it looked like it was finally going to be our time....

We just now need to get these last few games done, regroup , rejuvinate and go again..... and my biggest fear is the frustration of Blades being directed at Tufty--which absolutely must not happen !.

Without him this would never ever have happened !
