If Fleck is still out then surely Freeman will come in, as he did in early season.

Freeman needs to come into the side. Or Fleck, if he's fit. Then slot Lunny into RCM and Berge to the bench. We missed our triangles down the wing last night. I think that was our biggest problem. It made us one dimensional. Strikes much of a muchness. I'd be tempted to stick with McBurnie and Sharp as I don't think either had a chance to do anything last night. Equally, bringing McGoldrick into the lineup is tempting given how much he gives our link-up play a boost. But hopefully that'll be fixed with Freeman or Fleck coming back.

If Newcastle play the same way as they did at the Lane, on their own patch, we may have a problem who ever plays for United.

We need to learn from the 1st game.

What’s your point? The only thing I’m arsed about is people coming on moaning about people “leaking” the starting XI as though they haven’t already been studying us. If you leak it 4 hours before the game it should make no difference anyway because they’re already prepared. Everyone’s looking for an excuse again because we didn’t win and put in a shit performance. If you can’t admit it why bother? Maybe you’re in the wrong place if you can’t handle anyone else’s opinion but your own.

Didsy in (for McBurnie), Freeman in (for Berge) - need to have ball players and movement in the side to move their defenders around and try to break their defensive lines. They'll sit deep so there won't be any space in behind.
Didsy dropping deep might tempt their defenders out.
Freeman could drift inside behind the front line ala Duffy.
As harsh as it may seem after a very good game against Villa, I'd be tempted to drop Robinson and move Enda to LCB as he offers more going forward and will be more likely to overlap and help create the overloads (Osborne has shown he has the energy to play LWB)
Only reservation would be leaving Egan exposed at the back against Newcastle's pace (or even Andy Carroll - gave us a tough time in his cameo at the Lane). Maybe Robinson would offer a bit of protection against the counter.
Moose should be given last 30mins if we're not in front (not last 10mins). He's unpredictable and will prove a handful for their defence.
We need to be bold in going for the win - we're safe and have everything to gain...draws aren't much use to us with a tough run-in.
1 or 2pts from Newcastle and Villa is disappointing, I think we all would have settled for 4pts prior to the restart.
We usually see a reaction from Wilder's teams after disappointments and injustices, so lets hope Sunday is no different UTB
