Leeds player was deceptive. We’ve been robbed by some twat who didn’t turn on Hawkeye. I’m as pissed off as anyone, but I won’t hold this one against Smith.
 
To be fair, they couldn't be certain it was a goal. It's not as if the Premier League have come out and said it was in. I'm sure they'll knock up some bullshit image that shows a millimetre of the ball on the line.
 
Saying that we were poor, looked tired and no goal threat.
Apart from Newcastle second half worst performance I have seen.
Turgid is the word, for the non literate that means crap! We deserved very little, so a point was a good as me it gets.
 
I'd love to hear him explain the difference between why Leeds had to give Villa that goal back last season and why the same shouldn't have been applied here. Michael Oliver has been reported as saying that his watch buzzed him to give the goal during the half time interval, so what's their excuse for not showing the same sportsmanship that they demanded from Leeds?

Michael Oliver told everybody at half time that his watch confirmed it was goal when he was in the dressing room.
 
I wouldn't expect Villa to allow us to walk one in, but Nyland and the Villa defenders could easily see it went over the line.
 
Disgraceful. With pitchside monitors it was clear straight away.You could see Wilder and Smith talking about it soon afterwards. Money before pride and dignity.

Disagree with this. The pictures are clear and it’s a matter of fact decision not an opinion. He knows it was a goal and should have been given. This isn’t like a referees decision or even VAR, the ref said he couldn’t give it because Hawkeye hadn’t given it so he didn’t go to VAR.
Villa had a choice and they opted to not do the right thing in the chance of a win. That’s up to them but I for one hope they don’t win another point this season or next.

Villa were crap and we were pedestrian.. on this measure they’re going down. But both teams might benefit from being on first and we will be in Europe and they’ll stop up.

Because at H/T he would have been made aware of the error and could have let us walk one in. He bangs on about sportsmanship against Leeds then looks the other way when the injustice is against his club.

I hope they go down and he gets the sack.
 
How does DS know, He is 80 yards away in the stands and according to Hawkeye the cameras could not be sure so how can DS know stood in the stand?
He probably found out at HT from his players, no problem with him.

He watched it on the pitchside monitor whilst stood next to Wilder.
 
Where was VAR..??

Sky not talking about VAR.. That's what it's there for, and wasn't used. We should sue them

Been made aware of the error by who?

In fairness why would his coaching staff at half time make him aware of it, it’s nothing to do with him or the team?
