The trouble is they have not known how to survive without enough money to live on.It would do a lot of these wankers good to experience it for twelve months until then I wish they would keep their mouths shut on topics they know nothing about. We live in one of the riches countries in the world and for kids to be going hungry in 2020 is a bloody disgrace.RASHFORD FOR P.M.
After things get back to something like normal I am afraid there will be more families relying on such things as food banks.Families who twelve months ago could not imagine having to rely on them to get food on the table.These are families who up till now have had good jobs and a decent carry on,I really feel for them.

The point Ms. Hopkins misses - because she's a brain-dead imbecile who i wouldn't even want to shoot into the sun for fear of her hatred, bile and outright racist stupidity extinguishing it - is that there is a reasonable chunk of families who find themselves in this situation now for reasons outside their control.

For example:

- the family relies on 2 salaries to live comfortably, and has lost either one of both jobs due to the pandemic
- the family relies on a single salary, and the job has been lost or furloughed leaving insufficient money
- the family is a single parent family who, due to the age of the children, cannot work full-time
- the family is a single parent family now, but wasn't when the decision was made to have children

In the latter case, is Katie "white, middle-class privilege" Hopkins advocating that you go and drown the excess children in a river until you reach the number you can comfortably support?
