I bet McGoldrick , Sharp , Norwood , cant believe they are in the premier league , going for a European Place , going for the FA cup , and currently sitting in 7th place in the twilight of there careers , and been offered years on there contracts .Thats why they will walk through a wall for our Manager , because our Manager doesn't dump players who play and stick by him .

Was just about to post something similar.

You can really tell how much our players love being here (or most of them anyway) and the likes of Didzy and Norwood must have a special affection for the place now. Written off and tossed aside by previous managers, now with a management team who rate them at the highest level and believe in them 100%.

Delighted for all of them.

Very well put, except I don't think Norwood would appreciate being told he is at the twilight of his career at 29!

Nah, he was mostly well liked but unfit. And given Ispwich are now 11th in League One having lost their last four games, I think they're under no illusions that things on the pitch and behind the scenes were wrought with problems.

It's probably people who haven't watched him (or United) that are looking at his 0 goals this season and thinking wtf are those people in Sheffield doing now?

Anyone think Didzy is going to find himself out of the team sooner rather than later? lads a Rolls Royce but Im not sure he offers the intensity that SJ is looking for noted he forced the error last night from the keeper, but when SJ gets in the recruits he's after I think it could be at the expense of Didzy He's not pacey enough for the wide role, he's not got the finishing ability for the central striker and whilst he played last night in the No10 role I'm not sure that's for him either, his best role is the support Striker and that's not a position SJ is going to use. could be the victim of circumstance

Agreed. As a striker he drops deep and links play which is effective but he is nowhere near creative enough to play as a 10
 
I was just watching the Swansea game replay and I'm not sure am I (or should I be) disappointed about a) changes that McGoldrick missed or b) other strikers that didn't even had changes?

It seems a dirty thought, but i think he's expressed before he finds the behind the striker role difficult. Being honest and taking away any emotion, hes had a pretty awful start.

Age is catching up with him fast hate to say it but he’s a waste of a shirt now
Not got the energy for the championship finishing is appalling he’s spent

Dont want to jump on his back because he’s deserving of the utmost response I just think he’s going to struggle going forward to fit into how we set up and it will spell the end for him

His decision making and shooting was awful last night, he doesn't appear to suit any system other than overlapping centre backs, as stupid as it sounds, especially after scoring 8 last season, he like, Fleck and Enda, performs better when JOCs in the team
