Anyone had any experience of our hilariously named “superstore” during lockdown? I saw the 50% off shirts offer and placed an order over a week ago. I got the confirmation email and they’ve taken the money but it’s still in “processing”.

I bought an away shirt during the mega lockdown, I got an email after Boris came up with the Stay Alert thing that said they'd now be able to get on top of orders.

I'd say it took 10-14 days or so from the day I bought it to when I received it, so about twice as long as normal.

Cheers fella, looks like I need to wait a bit though taking the money early is a bit cheeky.

I'll take a gander and purchase a top. No rush😎

Nope. Shoreham Street Magnifique T shirt ordered. 'Far and wide.' Unobtrusive when away unless fellow Blades there. It takes one to know one. Happy with that. £22.+£4p+p. I'd have spent twice that tonight in what I think was called a pub once.😎

I get that it’s difficult times and all that but I paid for next day delivery at £10 as it’s a present.

Now I know it’s not going to come next day, or the day after for that matter but £10 is a lot of extra cash to pay if it just comes roughly the same time as standard delivery..

I’ll have ended up paying a tenner for it to come in 8 days instead of 9 which is pretty annoying and there should have been something said before I placed the order rather than an email afterwards.

A week last Friday I Placed 1 order for home and away shirts and a Tshirt, made 1 payment then received 2 emails with concurrent order numbers for the same order. Messaged them to query whether 2 payments had been taken but havent received a reply or the order yet!

Ordered an away shirt last Saturday, paid £10 for next day delivery as it was for my lad's birthday, Still 'in processing'. My lad's birthday has been and gone. Emailed them, phoned them - absolutely nothing back from them. Want to cancel order, but they don't reply. It's not even service, if they were a proper business they'd be on their arse - disgusted with them.

Not as though there is anywhere to go in your new shirt!!

Have to agree. Their customer service lets them down badly. Great while you're in store though.

Spoke to Will at the Superstore earlier, these are his replies and comments.

Due to being limited with Staff they are working on a first ordered first served basis.

This should increase this week with additional staff being brought in.

Emails will be answered, once again on first received first replied basis.

If anyone requires a refund on any purchase there is no problem regarding this.

Regarding deliveries, the Post Office only collect 2 or 3 times per week so give yourself more time when ordering.

As I said last night, the Superstore staff are working as fast as they can to process the online orders, please bear with them, thank you.

If you require any further information or have any questions please email me at [email protected]

I’ve only had two experiences with the superstore, 8 years apart and both were shocking.

first one in the 11/12 season, when Wilson was manager and ched scored shit loads we wore white home socks. So just before Christmas I went to buy one of my nephews the kit. The only had black socks. I said I wanted the white ones, as per the teams kit to be told we ordered loads of black socks because Gary Speed wanted black. Wilson then wanted white and it was too late to change the order. I happened to mention that speed left 12 months ago and blaming a recently deceased man was a little crass! I got nowhere!

this christmas I order a kit online for ayounger nephew...money taken, order number given, email to confirm it was being processed. Paid for quick delivery. Said kit didn’t turn up. After a lot of emails/ calls etc finally someone replied to say they didn’t have the size left and order was cancelled, would be reimbursed etc etc. Literally a minute later another email arrived to say it had been posted! Eventually got a reply (after I sent both emails and asked which was correct!) to be told it definitely was out of stock and wouldn’t come and that the only way to cancel the order was to process it to look it like it would happen, then cancel it!!

the money was reimbursed etc but I vowed to never bother again!

I bought a discounted away shirt at the club shop at BDTBL (before lockdown). Got the shirt and was walking out casually checking the receipt when I noticed I'd been charged £1.25 for a carrier bag...they'd charged me for 25 bags instead of one. I went back to tell them and we had a good chuckle about it. They corrected the mistake by deducting £1.25 so the bag was free. Oh how he we laughed.😆

True story.

Appreciate that Mick but when you take someone’s money, you move onto another level of having to at least communicate what’s happening, let alone actually deliver the goods.

And stop taking £10 I can ill afford for next day delivery when you can’t even process it in a week never mind deliver it in a day.

Like I said. No problem with being behind and playing catch up. Just stop charging for something you can’t do.

I want my tenner back! 🤣

Wapping Blade, I understand the money is deducted once the order is processed and posted which you would have received notification by email once this is done.

TomHeffernan, did you ask for one day delivery ?

What’s the cut of the current replica shirts like? I’ve not bought one for ages as they’ve been fitted for the err... rounder gentleman.

Are they a bit more regular these days? For 27 quid I’m tempted....

I've got the current away shirt and it's a "normal fit" (my large shirt is about 43" chest), ie they're not the close-fitting style of shirt the players wear.

No mate. Money has been taken on the 26th and no email let alone a shirt, that’s the issue.

I had an email today saying my shirts were despatched today. I ordered on the 22nd of May. Not impatient at all as we are not exactly going anyway to wear them. Bought mine to wear on holiday, which is very unlikely.

I bought an away shirt a couple of weeks ago and had to get a small because the mediums were out of stock.

Then a few days later I checked again and the mediums were back in stock somehow.

Usually when they're gone they're gone.

Not at our shop. Often times when they're gone, they find some in a corner and they're back again, and when they're there and you've ordered them, they send you an email saying they're not actually there and a refund has been processed.
