If United had been playing at Southampton tomorrow I would have been setting my alarm for 5am on a Sunday morning. I'll miss not having a game, but will enjoy the lie in!

Gee this season like life is totally fucked , who would have thought this at Xmas, can u imagine going down to Southampton and the blades securing a champions league place what a day that would have been , another one for the memory bank , instead I will be doing D I Y , can’t friggin wait .

I was supposed to be at a 60th birthday party in London tonight (Saturday), Mrs Silent and I were to stay over in London and then we would be going to Southampton in the next morning, my son would have to find a way of travelling from his home to Southampton. Mrs Silent was going to go to Southampton City centre until the final whistle and then meet me, our son and a friend for all of us to travel by car back home. We werent sure whose car we would be in for the journey home as I wasnt sure whether myself and Mrs Silent would travel by train or car to London (also from London to Southampton).

My aim was to go to every league match in a season for the first time. My previous best was 44/46 in 1989-90 and second best were 39/42 in 1971/72 and 1990/91

I was wondering this the other day, will fans who have been to every game since 1965 still be able to say that, I guess they will exclude the 'crowdless' games.

What was your son's friend going to have for breakfast that morning? I've just gotta know 😜

(just pulling your leg mate, you are very organised 👍 )

Well you have beaten me. I wouldn’t have been going to Southampton and I won’t get a lye in either due to having a child who wakes up when the birds do.

What a time to be alive
On a plus, you could start drinking now, same as an away day, and by the time you would've got back you'll be to pissed to be bothered! 👍

Really is that a consolation. You could have had your lie ins in the close season
We were there for the weekend
