He never was the brightest player, evidence suggests that. Can't give any stories any credibility when basics like this are incorrect. He can't remember anything.
Originally thought Santos snapped Johnson because Johnson had broken D'Jaffo's cheek?!?!
Said the WBA game was Santos' first game back from injury... it wasn't, it was March and he'd been playing all season (injury was in the previous March).
Said Bruce left for Palace or Birmingham. He didn't, he left for Huddersfield, then went to Wigan before Palace.
Working OK for me?!?
So thats why he now has a diffrent colour for his tash , goat and head they took revenge and made him look a cunt .There's a story which I think is true about a girl who goes to a hairdresser and they get talking as hairdressers do.
Hairdresser " what you been up to lately"?
Girl " Got a new boyfriend"
Hairdresser " that's great - what's he like?"
Girl " He's a footballer"
Hairdresser " wow that's amazing, my boyfriends a footballer too - what team does he play for ?"
Girl " He plays for Sheffield United"
Hairdresser " That's a coincidence - so does my boyfriend - they must know each other - what's his name?"
Girl " Michael Tonge"
Hairdresser " WTF is happening here bitch ?" He's my boyfriend !!!!!!!!!!!"
Back when Tonge played for us a friend of mine was on a driving lesson and got pranged from behind by Tonge's car. His then girlfriend was driving, and for some reason that's since escaped me (this was 15 odd years ago!), she shouldn't have been.
Said friend (who was a bit of a pot head) was accompanied to hospital by Mr and Mrs Tonge (nothing serious: just whiplash). To put this delicately: he suddenly found himself in the very fortunate position of having an increased bank balance, certainly enough to mean he didn't go short of pot during his recovery phase, or indeed, for the foreseeable future.

They said he was a future England international. Never came close. Thick as fuck bless him.
I know who this said girlfriend was. Good friend of m8neBack when Tonge played for us a friend of mine (who wasn't a football fan, and had no idea who Tonge was) was on a driving lesson and got pranged from behind by Tonge's car. Agree. That move to Stoke finished him.Fucking lovely feller outside of football. Big hearted and kind, not big headed (despite the jokes) at all.
Shame he went to Stoke. I think even he bitterly regretted that because it effectively finished his career.
Always treasured for those two strikes v the bindippers and that free kick against the pigs.

Pulis admitted on 5 Live, in an interview with him and Blackwell that he spoke directly to KM on deadline day to get the deal done.Pretty much what he said in the podcast. Blackwell wanted him stay but you know who wanted to move him on.
12 appearances in 4 years at Stoke during the prime of his career. Pulis just signed Tonge to make up the squad numbers.
He lost so much playing time before he ended up at Leeds but by that time he was the wrong side of 30.
I know! I know!I'm fuckin' saying nowt!

which one/s as i thought all of look in place bar sabella but he from 80s from what I hear he was popularHe achieved a lot more than at least one player on there.
my memory is probally being too harsh from what I remember. he had a 1 great season in 2002/03 then sort of lived off it for the rest, to the point we were glad stoke took him off our handsTonge at one point looked like he was going to play top 4 football. His dribbling ability early in his career was sensational. Then, all of a sudden, it wasn't. Almost overnight he became a solid, slightly dull Championship player.
Definitely should always be remembered fondly by United fans though
