It looked like Vranic could have just run the ball in. Top effort from both to keep it out.

Amazing double save by Hendo, but how the fuck did Mcgoldrick clear that off the line!! Just seen it back, and it looks virtually impossible. He may not have scored this season (in the league), but that was a match winner yesterday!!
He obviously used the magical phrase known to all footballers as "AV IT"

People keep saying it was a triple save but I’m sure Henderson makes contact 4 times!!

Unreal from McGoldrick.
Did anyone else see the handball though?

Definitely handball wonder whether VAR would of reviewed it though, the lead up Burnley’s goal yesterday was handball too but no apparent VAR check

He imagined he was at the other end...

Just kidding!

im sure if it had gone in they would have? At half time in the Burnley game they were suggesting that too much happened between the handball and the goal too

All goals are reviewed. The lad who handled for Burnley didn’t score or assist so it wasn’t ruled out

The Burnley one was as much of a hand ball as the Declan Rice one - if not as funny. The ball hit the attackers hand allowing him to beat his man and cross it.

The cross didn’t directly lead to the goal though, Rice’s did.

It was said on MOTD that it was handball but did not intervene as the Burnley player who handballed wasnt the assist to the goal or the goal scorer himself. Also when Arsenal scored their goal it was clear that two players were offside as the ball was played forward 🤷‍♂️ .
If those two were regarded as not active why have other similar goals been disallowed this season such as Burnleys when Wood scored with a header and someone was stood in an offside position from the touchline 30m away and wasn't Didsy's goal ruled out for a similar issue ?

What a fantastic signing he has been for United. I was so pleased for him yesterday - fully deserved two goals.

Came across as very appreciative in his interview. All ticks on what makes up this United team :-
  • Cares about the result more than own performance.
  • Appreciates what he has got - been dreaming of premiership football since 16, means the world to him.
  • Respect for Wilder - didn't want a B****ING from Wilder for getting carried away with European dream.
  • Acknowledges fans - player of the year from last year.
  • Feels wanted with a new contract.

Got to be Wilder's best ever signing.
