Sign Dean Henderson

Don't care if it blows all our summer cash, sign him.
Mate you cant sign a player that doesn't want to come , he has always told the truth and he wants to play for Manure , so expect one day to be seeing him running out returning to the Lane playing for them , i would imagine he would get an excellent reception though 👏

He doesn't want to come? That's like Angelina Jolie clothing off and me saying sorry babes put em back on.

We can’t sign him, as good as he is. It would be careless to blow our whole budget on a goalkeeper when you can get similar level keepers (at the minute, though I think Henderson is on his way to the very top) for under 10mil.

If we can loan Hendo again, great. If we can’t then thanks for the past 2 years and hopefully we meet again.

He cost us 1 point against the scoosers but wow! how many has he won for us? Best shot stopper in the Prem with Foster a close second.

Would love to have him on a permanent but just can't see it happening budget wise.

Top top keeper with more to come from him.
Dubravka the best shot stopper for me.

Not taking away from another terrific season for Henderson, and he’s made some outstanding saves, I just think Dubravka is put under way more pressure and so often finds a way to keep the ball out of the net somehow. Henderson’s shot stopping is as much a compliment to his concentration as we’re so good at getting bodies in the way and blocking shots before they get to Henderson.

There was a great interview with Deano on 5live at about 1:15, he came across really well - the pundits raved about his attitude.

If you listen to the interview on football focus yesterday that they replayed on 5live today he is talking about "when" he's in the Man Utd first team. He seems to have a very one track mind on the issue so I don't think signing for us in his plans at all.

So long as he doesn’t want to play for them regularly in the next 2-3 years then he can go back. Can’t see him being content to do that either. Lads going to have to pick a side this summer or next.

He will never be Man U keper, he's too English.

Just repeating what he said, for a player at a club who you might think would want to keep the fans on side he mentioned nothing about us in his long term plans. It was all England and Man Utd.

I know his performances speak for themselves and the fist pumping, shouting and motivational tweets keep most Blades on side but there's a definite arrogance about him that he feels he's just here for the experience and nothing else. Even the tweets are self promoting a lot of the time in my view.

His dream has always been to play for Man Utd, he has never really deviated from view in interviews despite his success with us.

At least he is honest about it rather than blowing smoke up our arse and telling us what we would like to hear.

You are right but you need that arrogance to succeed at that level , he might go to Manure and have a nightmare , he might actually think to himself at some stage * I wish i never left the BLADES * , you never know in life that`s for sure !

I'd much rather him be honest like he is doing, than to bullshit the fans with fake stuff. He's always said the same thing, and that I definitely respect.

It’s not that, it’s that he’s not got enough social media presence and he’s not going to cost enough to generate it. Man Utd need it to be a big transfer, that’s what drives their income from all their brands, tweets and clicks.
If he came to us and then went back to them for a world record fee and as England’s No1, Man Utd would make more money than if they just kept him.

I'm begining to think all this big money Premiership bollocks is a fraud.

Exactly, nothing worse than seeing a player saying how much they love the club, fans and how much they want to stay before suddenly fucking off to another club.

Keep saying it, both Juventus and Bayern Munich are still looking at him, will be a bidding war in the summer for him between those 2 clubs at least. We wont be retaining him as the wages on offer from the super clubs is something we cant match. He’s going abroad.

Hendo is a good goalie, but he doesnt have the same place in my heart as the rest of the squad.
I'd rather we brought Ramsdale home and let "deano" orchestrate his own dream.

Stats show manure dont protect their keeper as well as we do. Let's not forget that.

Our CURRENT number 1 is being touted as being the CURRENT England number 1.

What a time to be alive.

If there’s a deal to be done, we’ll do it. If there isn’t, we won’t.

100% respect to Deano. True professional and totally honest on his intentions of claiming the number 1 jersey at old Trafford from day one. And yet his attitude at our club is up with the best of them. When he does return, which I believe will be next season then I wish him the very best.
I think Aaron Ramsdale From Bournemouth could be a good replacement. Especially if they go down
