Why take the credit away from O.G.

He’s one of our best players. Chips in with a few every season!

I am sorry but yes we have a fantastic team , but I was around to watch this man , No one could take a corner like him , No one could play like him and No one can match him , just watch his first corner , the way he swings in with his outside of his boot , effortlessly, he just was a natural.

While we are on keeper own goals, can anybody explain why Hulls goal on Saturday was given as an on goal by Brentford keeper? Only seen it once but ball played forward, keeper misses ball and it goes into net, less contact than palace keeper, “shot” on target but still an OG???

I guess its because the keeper had full control of it then dropped it in. With a save, he just deflects the ball on its way in
he never had full control of it , thats why he dropped it , I agree should be Nowoods goal. had it been a free kick 4 yards off the line and dropped it would be Norwoods, the keeper in effect just parried it over the line , which is how hundreds of goals happen

BBC credited the goal to the hull player, Tafazolli.
What a howler, though...

By making it an own goal it gave the pundits on MOTD credibility when saying we were fortunate.
