Jenas doesn’t mind us as a team either! However, if Jenas isn’t up to the main presenter’s job, why not bump up Mark Chapman (who happens to be great on the NFL coverage) from MOTD2 and give his old Sunday night job to Colin Murray to suit his more informal approach as seen on the football league shows.

I like Colin Murray too. A genuinely intelligent football fan who doesn't depend on lazy clichés and echoes the sentiments of most passionate football fans.

Just finished listening to this conversation, and about as good an hour's worth of insight as I imagine you could expect from someone like Wilder. A bit like you and your best mate in fact, but probably not as they seem to have a bit of history between them. Nice guys the pair of them, and personally I'm so, so happy CW's our manager. We've gone from football's doldrums to being deserved members of this country's top division, and all because of Chris Wilder and, let's not forget, Alan Knill.

I'm trying to not get carried away with our current success, but given the way we've seamlessly taken this division in our stride, the fact that we've broken this club's transfer record twice already, and that there's so much happening on and off the pitch (I'm mainly referring to potential new training facilities), why wouldn't any Blade get a rise on simply because we're behaving like a successful club is meant to. Let's be right, although it's always good to be a Blade, given where we are, who we're in for regarding transfer activity, and what next season might bring, well if this and whatever else I've forgotten to mention doesn't give you a buzz then you're a miserable twat suffering from a case of terminal cuntishness. UTMB!!!

He's one of those people you'd do anything for, it's no wonder the players run through brick walls for him, I feel generally more motivated towards life after listening to that.

Reckon he’d be ace doing the Jeff Stelling Soccer Saturday type role on Final Score - they'd need to upgrade the pundits from Garth Crooks though, obviously.

I also listened today, ive got a lot of time for Murray. Genuinely interesting and engaging to listen to. As you say it's a sad state of affairs that he is hosting a show on quest and not on the mainstream channels where he deserves to be, ahead of the likes of some twats I wont name.

I think its a bit like YouTube vs TV with Quest and the like vs the BBC and ITV, I watch more YouTube content than I do TV, and I watch more "satellite/freeview" channels than the BBC, ITV and C4, and just because the budget is lower, the content is often of equal quality, and as informative and entertaining if not more so.

The only issue with it is people finding it.

BBC can keep spending £15m on shite like Doctor Who as long as people know where the highlights are, and we're probably better for it as fans, because the small channels appreciate it.

If the Championship was on the BBC it'd be on the red button and they'd have an intern presenting it, no pundits, and it'd be full of errors - we had to get to the Premier League before they got our badge right on FA Cup MOTD, even on normal MOTD it took them about 8 weeks to get the right one.

They're nebulous and don't really give a toss.

Which is why I still enjoy watching EFL on Quest, you are almost guaranteed a chuckle or two with Colin, especially when Hollaway was on the show. I couldn't imagine that interview would have flowed as well if McCarthy was conducting it .
