I think there must be a case for Ollie Norwood being awarded the goal yesterday ... not seen anyone making the case, but surely that corner was going in and the fact the keeper fumbled it does not make it an OG. Similarly, Liverpool's goal at Bramall Lane was credited to Wijnaldum and was not an OG. Whatever, the way Ollie whipped it in and the bend on it took me right back to the days of the great Alan Woodward. (and btw not ashamed to say the scenes at the end literally brought tears to my eyes).
I didn’t watch the match, but I didn’t see it like that.....He was awful in the first half.
Can someone explain the toxic Ollie origin?
He’s been tremendous. Had a slow start in every game for the first month or so, seemed to take a while to get up to speed in each game and it made us slow starters as he is our playmaker. Since then, absolutely unbelievable. Great yesterday.
ThanksThere was a thread on here suggesting for some reason that Norwood was a toxic influence on the squad when he first joined. It got adopted as an ironic nickname thereafter.
Thanks
