So we'd not even recoup what we've just paid out for another midfielder, even when considering this one now has some proven EPL pedigree and goals?

If Arsenal think they can get Fleck for £20 million then I want some of whatever hallucinogen they're on...

I was listening to Talksport this morning and heard him say this. I was somewhat surprised to hear it to be honest but also Warnock speaks without much thought into any consequences. I think he says things like this without any hesitation. Fleck has been a first team player every week since he came, I don't recall him ever been on the bench. If Warnock's saying we were tempted to let him go then I can only assume it was because an offer came in that was tempting to sell, but I doubt that also because I doubt we'd get a bid for Fleck given that he'd only played in League One and Scotland (other than a brief spell in the Championship on loan at Blackpool) and he was in his mid 20's at the time that Warnock must be referring to. His value is far higher than what I think we would have received for him the the Championship.

It may be that Warnock is right re being offered Fleck by an agent but I would imagine Wilder would have stamped that out.

I do still like listening to Warnock, he is a good person to have on the radio; some may not like him, but he perhaps should refrain at times! I will say that he brought up without any prompting how United are doing well and pushing for Europe.

He just spoke about us on Sky, glowing about us, couldn't have given more praise to Wilder, the prince and the players.

Did he manage to keep us in the Prem ? Did he keep Cardiff in the Prem ?

Whether there’s any truth in what Warnock is saying or not, I find it pretty pathetic how the only way he can keep his name in the media is by taking potshots at the club he claims to love and support, on a tinpot radio show. The guy is a spent force; he’s had success at championship level in the past but has been proven to be completely out of his depth in the premier league. Christ sake, Neil, do what you said you were going to do 15 years ago and piss of to your farm in Cornwall. I’m bored of listing to you!
