Signed McBurnie for £18 million and he's been dissapointing so far, this bloke looks brilliant on the clips I've seen of him and I hope he turns out to be a brilliant signing but lets have a look for ourselves first.
Look what happened to Wendy after their big signings and wages, I love to see us going for it but hope CW keeps his eye on the finances and doesn't allow us to get in a mess financially like the pigs.

You forgetting that Wilder treats the money like his own....he doesn’t overspend....he’s always seeking good value.

Many experts in the game think this lad has a big future playing at a top European....he’s only 21 but already acknowledged as one of the best players in the Belgian league. It looks likely he’ll be worth over 60 million in 2 or 3 years...so represents good value.

Also regards our signings noticed how they are all young players....so more likely to increase in value.

Chuffed we got this one. Massive signing for us, well done Wilder, smart Business man as always. Just watched Berge's latest highlights, can see he'll definitely add strength to us. He'll just have to watch his tackles a bit more than before. Can see him getting booked quick even when hes getting nothing but ball with some of the primadonnas in this league.

It feels like Wilder is just getting started with United, the promotions were just the warm up.

He’s going to take us to new levels beyond our wildest dreams! If you can dream it, Wilder can deliver it!

Excellent signing judging by the few utube clips about. This young fella looks the part.

Only time will tell if he can perform in the Premier League and live up to his tall reputation. I hope he can and wish him well.

Well done to the club and new ownership team for backing Chris and Alan.

Happy days.:D

I thought this myth had already been busted? He hasn’t been disappointing in the slightest for most of us, in recent weeks and since Brighton he’s been our best attacker.

I think most Blades can see how McBurnie is now showing what he did for Swansea last season. There's a minority of fans that still are yet to be convinced but fans always expect players to hit the ground running and yet there's been countless occasions where it's took a few months, maybe even longer for a player to show his worth. A few that spring to mind Paul Devlin, Jamie Murphy and John Lundstram.

It's easy to forget that he's still young. He's disappointed for £18 million but he's been improving every game and wasn't signed as the finished article. He's now showing what he can bring and will only improve.

Even the skipper is belting out the song for Saturday 🤣🤣

As good as that is, I still prefer the Men at work version that was on here earlier. He might not be from Brussels (I checked like a sad like and Genk is a separate city - who cares) but its still a brilliant song! For those that didn't see:

Sander Berge, he’s (I think is not he's works slightly better) the man from Brussels
6’4 and full of muscles
I said do you speak-a my language
He just smiled and gave me a greasy chip sandwich!

Genius!

Sounds mature and very articulate. Says he doesn't know any of the lads though. I suggest some team bonding and he'll soon get the hang of things. For starters Egan can teach him the Allez Allez song and McBurnie can take him on the piss to Swansea's next away game.

Wonder if it's worth a nibble for him once more?

When we last approached, he probably thought 'new to the Premier League, tipped to finish 20th, I'll be in the Championship the following season'.

Now the view is 'acquitted themselves very well. Got good players. Competing in every game. 30k home each match. Excellent manager, proving himself at top level. No chance of being relegated. A less than outside chance of playing in Europe next season'.

Could ideally compete with Lundstram and with his height might not be a bad one to support Basham either.
And the Nostradamus award for the best bumped thread of 2020 goes to Champagneblade

It's undoubtedly good, but the oasis one is more chantable.
