So McAllister made his debut in 71?
His first team debut was against Israel X1 in a friendly at Jaffa in February 1972. Drew 0-0, you can see in below photo Moshe Dayan shaking hands with Blades players. First time I saw McAlister was a few days later in the 2-1 home defeat in a friendly against Kiev Dynamo. His league debut was in the 0-0 draw at Ipswich on 15/4/72

That really is 10/10 top Silent Blade trainspotter Blade info.

Not just knowing that an aged former player made his debut in an obscure foreign friendly, but even crediting the foreign leader too.

"He's one of our owwwwwwnnnnnn
Silent Blade
He's one of our own...."

Are we waiting till Moore’s back in training to get Eastwood back out on loan? Might not be back to Scunthorpe now – they’ve just sacked Paul Hurst.

They’re seven points clear of relegation and they’ve sacked a manager with a decent track record two days before the JTW closes. Shithouses. I see Cambridge have sacked Calderwood too. Thank fuck we’re not one of ‘those clubs’ anymore.
