Sadly that isn’t going to happen. He’s got his heart set on
Man U and he’s already better than De Gea. He might not start next season at Man U first choice but he’ll finish it as that.

Get ya but not yet, Kelly was the best keeper we had in my lifetime of watching the Blades. Deano is young and may go on to be better but Kelly was just imperious game in game out.

I don’t worry too much beyond the end of the current season these days, as I think football is now a very short-term game when it comes to players/contracts. There will be other keepers available who will do the job just as well.

As it stands tho, Deano is ours and is doing a great job this season.

CWAK know we have very little chance of signing Hendo and will have already spent a lot of time identifying a keeper for next season. Another years premiership money and their expertise makes me very confident we will have a top class keeper in goal next season whether its Hendo or someone else.

Do they flog DeGea to probably only 2 clubs globally that could afford him?

Or do they try to flog Hendo to a premier league rival ?

Well I would never question Wilder, and if he knows that for sure then fair enough, but with the same line trotted out by Hendo endlessly I'd be tapping Ramsdale up asap.
For me Hendo has tainted his time here with the manure no1 mantra for me.
I can take or leave him.

There is no way they are letting DeGea go or bench him on that money. He is a fabulous keeper, too, as demonstrated at the Lane.

I think it'll be 'more of the same' next season. Hope so, anyway.

Seriously? Not even close.

No offence, but Kelly was rock solid for season after season, for many many years, he hardly put a foot wrong. He's the best keeper I've ever seen.

Henderson is quality, he's young so we can forgive the mistakes he's made, but to compare him with Kelly's consistency throughout his career with us is completely nuts. He's not even close. Henderson has already had more major mistakes in his couple of years than Kelly had in his entire time with us!
