I'm in the disabled bit at the back; shame you can't see me waving my crutches in the air, but perhaps you can see a blurry shape who forgot he was lame and ran along the back, crutches pointed heavenwards, before hugging a complete stranger. I'd stupidly left my painkillers at home; my knee didn't half ache for the rest of the match and the journey home.

Nice and easy today; bus to Hatton Cross, Piccadilly Line to Holloway Road, hobble on crutches to stadium.

Off to see the knee specialist on Monday; it must be getting better because every day I swear a little less when putting my socks on.

We were next to the Arsenal fans ,a couple of feet away with just stewards ,who were absolutely brilliant btw. Loads of banter flying each way ,they were good fun apart from one big nosed dickhead who thought it was appropriate to spit at us then run away with stewards in pursuit. The stewards asked us if we wanted to take it further as it will be on aftv. Nice couple of pints in The Drayton after until the queues for the tube went down ,excellent day out.

Good to see Brownie, our good luck continues.
