Was in a meeting today with the new regional manager, all was going well except for one aspect.

He kept using the word 'endeavor' again and again which made me very annoyed for obvious reasons, unbeknownst to him!

Has anyone else had something like this happen?

Any other words or phrases used in every day life that 'originated' from SUFC?

As an ex-1st team captain I always used to like the old Harry Bassett motivational comment of "the rewards are there".

Still love the footage of that day at Leicester.

Happy days!

"Ahhh, he's McGoldricked it" ie set something up beautifully, then missed the open goal

"Couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo"

You'd be amazed how many times it pops up in my day to day life.....

I prefer ‘cow’s arse with a shovel’ which is a phrase I genuinely heard for the first time at the Lane.
Or, when in polite society, ‘barn door with a banjo’.

I was watching Step Brothers yesterday and Will Ferrell's character yells out "I said I didn't want salmon. I said it 4 times"

I yelled it more

Just got this reply from the ticket office. The Adkins legacy lives on.
