I take issue with the out of favour bit, that gives it away as much as anything. He's just not first choice, otherwise one of the players Wilder seems to trust most.

He can go for me. His completed pass ratio was excellent of course, but that’s only because he mainly passed it 3 yards, then received it and passed it back again 3 yards to the same player. He did try the occasional Hollywood pass though, I’ll give him that, but it rarely came off.

I thought he looked reight slow when he first joined. But I was informed that was because he Didn’t have a full pre season. He did improve, but still seems slow in terms of pace and thought. Capable of a crunching tackle though.

Seems like a nice lad and an all that but he’s League 1 standard I’m afraid. GLTTL if he does leave, because he tried hard enough. Just not up to it imo.

He's not good enough at this level really. However, he does offer something a bit different and we're extremely light on numbers.

I actually think he might be a decent convert to the CB position. His main weakness is lack of pace/mobility.

Funnily enough, that was the one thing he did seem to have at the final game, away at Stoke.

Tackled their player on the halfway line and was pretty much at the edge of their box before you could blink, on more than one occasion, his mistake was not taking a deep breath and shooting, instead he tried to pass to Billy (I think?), and Billy was being marked too closely.

I recall quite a few fans saying Chris Morgan wouldnt make tbe grade in the Premiership. He was immense for us.

Morgan was playing every week and was always going to cope with the Premiership..this lad hardly played in the championship ..is nowhere near Premiership level ...do well to find a championship club that would take him ...probably Rotherham best bet as he will shine at top end of League 1

He's not been first choice but covered very ably when asked to do so. Some of the stick he took 2 years ago was simply becuase he wasn't Coutts and we were all pissed off he'd been badly injured.

People were creaming themselves over the Grealish tackle and the lad is defensively very competent. His lack of killer ball may well be lack of confidence from not having enough starts and a desire not to make a mistake.

I think there is a decent player in there, at least at Championship level.

A player who will continue to learn & develop. Well worth keeping around.

Do you think he'll want to be kept around if he isn't playing? He'd be better off getting regular football somewhere else, because he won't be getting it here. I agree that he's twice the player Booker was, but that isn't the greatest accolade. I mean, Booker was one of those players who were so bad initially that they became a bit of a cult figure, out of fun - like Chris Porter became at the end of his stint with us.

I think Lundstram will have a decent career in L1 and possibly Championship - but to do that he'll need to be playing week in, week out, somewhere. So it's best he goes, best for him and no loss for us.

Coutts realised he was not going to get regular football and decided to go,Lundstram is hoping he will get game time (Carabao maybe),would be better off somewhere else like Tranmere,Rotherham etc playing week in week out.

We are going to have to start increasing our wage bandings & giving out higher salaries soon to keep a pace. However, Lundstram doesn't warrant that sort of money. He's had half a good season & his standards are already dropping. Besic should be in his shirt soon.
