Not sure what to read into this (if anything), but anyway.....

Apologies if this has been mentioned already, I went straight out from the game for a bite to eat, then on for some beers, so not read everything on the site.

Don't want to say anything too negative, but as the game had finished and the teams were on the pitch clapping, Chris Wilder stood at the edge of the tunnel waiting for the team to come off.

As the Blades started walking towards the tunnel, CW shook hands with each player, followed by a pat on the back. If two players were walking off, side by side, he shook hands with the closest lad, and patted them both on the back.

When Deano walked off, CW put his hands in his pockets and sort of looked past him, the next player behind Deano was Ravel M, and Chris Wilder kept his hands in his pockets, once Ravel had walked past, he brought his hands back out and carried on shaking hands and patting backs.

Did anyone else see this?

Not sure what to make of it, probably something and nothing, and me putting 2+2 together and getting 5, but it did seem a bit odd.

Anyway, thought I would mention it.

Saw exactly the same. Think it could confirm Ravel might be off but then again if he didn’t shake hands with Deano it could also be nothing.

I imagine there’s a lot of things we don’t know about anyway so wouldn’t be too worried either way.

At first I thought it was just Wilder annoyed with Deano for the late goal and annoyed with Ravel because this was his first chance in ages to show the crowd what he could do, and he did nothing, absolutely light weight.

But probably nothing in it.

Wilder also didn't name Ravel in his post match interview, despite name checking and praising every other fringe player that played yesterday

So maybe 2+2+1 = 5

Wouldn't be surprised if he's fucked off with Ravel because he's been backing him and singing his praises in the media, only for him to turn in another nothing performance.

Yup. Saw that. Also saw that Deano’s warm up before he came on comprised waiting for Verrios to be picked up. Then grabbing a few Fruit pastilles shoving them in his mouth and then the slowest jog up the touch line you will ever see. Refs should watch this. He’s not wasting time when he takes ages over a kick, he lives in a parallel universe.

You must have missed our 2nd goal then

Just watched the highlights now, and yes he did some good stuff up there, which I couldn't see from where I was sitting (age/eyesight), I still don't think he had a great game though, other than a few nice touches. One in the first half where no clear pass was on, and he simply chipped it over the Fylde players heads to one of our lads.

As I always say, I think where you sit in the ground makes a huge difference as to who appears (to you) to be doing well and who had an off-day. Everyone on here seems to be saying Osborn was bad, but he seemed ok to me.

You need to switch seats then pal, pronto.

Nah, I like being higher up, I think you get a better view of the whole pitch. Could maybe look to move closer to the halfway line, but from what many tell me, outside of G and H block (I am in G), it's not such a great atmosphere. Could be wrong on that.

G and H always looked the places to be on South Stand

In fairness the club's official social media accounts love posting endless slow mos from multiple angles of any tekkers a player pulls off (eg Bash, Enda)

Not as desperate as an individual player creating their own and posting it on their own account though is it?!

I have nothing against the bloke but this seems to say to me "look how good I think I am". He should be more interested in doing what he needs to do to impress Wilder and Knill rather than his 80k+ instagram followers. If Zlatan did this he'd be called out as a knob.

Or....maybe he's just happy to get some minutes as on the pitch is a safe place for so many footballers growing up to just have nothing else on their mind. Every player will be sent their individual clips in a reel as the club uses software that deciphers it for them.

But keep trying to build the narrative despite not a single negative report coming out about Ravel and actually Wilder praising him last week in the media.

Doesn’t everyone who become an entertainer of the public have an element of ‘look at me’ about them? Isn’t that why people take to ‘the stage’? To get the applause?

Anyway, if he’s a dick, I doubt he’ll be here in a month’s time.

well Christiano Ronaldo would never stoop to self promotion
hes the perfect pro , unassuming and not interested in marketing himself

Not sure I’d want to shake hands with someone who’s had goalie’s gloves on all afternoon

There's no narrative from me at all. I have nothing to prove he's an idiot but I think that posting footage of a few fancy flicks, passes and a disallowed goal against a conference side is a bit desperate.

Why?
