Sub keeper vs West Ham

Yeah, he could be on the bench Friday night, then still play for Guisley on Saturday, couldn’t he?

Can't say I know the rules to be honest, just know the loans are more relaxed affairs.

The main issue would be Premier League registration, don't really know how that works.

U21 so doesn’t need to be part of our 25 man squad, which would rule Eastwood out.

I would look for experienced keeper on a deal till May.
What's Richard Wright upto these days? 😂

Warnock wasn't good with keepers. Paddy was half decent and even played when injured. Didn't thingy Gerrards woeful display at a home game in that last prem season effectively cost us that game and thus contribute to our relegation? Better to be safe than sorry.
Portsmouth. 1-0 up Squinny. Gerrard and Claude Davis dithered between the-sens, Portsmouth player nicked the ball from them and scored equaliser.

Morrison’s woeful pass led to the throw in that left Freeman stuck. Neither him nor Bryan should get near the first team. Hope the keeper gets fit soon.

Wilder refusing to say good morning to Ravel that put doubt in his mind that let to the woeful pass that led to the throw in that led to Freeman's sloppiness that led to Bryan's uncultured defending that led to Verrips injury.

I call it the six degrees of Ravel separation where every single mistake in a game can be traced back to Ravel Morrison.

If he's still in England I would sign Julian Speroni on a 6 month contract, great face to have around the club, he has not announced retirement yet
Edit: he is retired lol

I agree 😀

I'll happily sit on the bench on Friday for a monkey

we have the maximum amount of loans already.
But if it is a loan keeper, he would only come on to replace Henderson, so we would still only have maximum 2 loan players on the pitch. Or is that we can only have 2 loans in the squad or match day squad?

Can't we register Darren Ward and stick him on the bench? Similar to the days when Warnock would name Blackwell on the bench in an emergency? 😂

I suspect Verrips subbed as a protocol and no serious damage done?

Yes, though as Wilder alluded to the protocol for suspected concussion, even if he’s fine it would still mean a rest period of 6 days before he can be used again. I’m sure he’ll be fine for after West Ham – but for Friday we’ll need temporary cover.

Yep - same protocol that ruled Egan out of the Man Utd game earlier in the season after concussion playing for Ireland.

What's the issue with just picking the U23 lad?

There is less than a 1% chance he will be called upon.

If he is, then it will be for a fraction of the game.

I assume he practices keeping goal every day of the week and plays in U23 games. I don't see what the issue is.

Perhaps different if we had no fit keeper.

Can’t see Wilder picking an U21 keeper for the bench, I expect Eastwood will be recalled? 🧤🧤⚽
