My Sunderland pal just got in touch and said that Rodwell is much better as an attacking midfielder than a defender. I said that's fine, in our overlapping system he will have to do both anyway!

To add to this from a rovers fan I know in real life, "he's not got anywhere near the energy required to play for you lot, decent touches and all that but can't see how he'd keep up in your team".

It seems attitude will be the key, and I got the impression be turned up when he felt like it for rovers

What a disaster that would be. I read on here last season that Fleck simply isn't top end championship material.

Let's Hope Rodwell doesn't suffer the same issues as Fleck

By premier league standards 10/11 of our team have played an awful lot of football. Hopefully we can bring in 2 or 3 to allow Wilder to mix it up a bit more.

One scenario I've seen is Besic on a perm - he's got 12 months left at Everton, and that opens another loan up

Yehhh, they've fucked it again. They needed to get up last season, now they're doing an 'us' but worse league positions. Normally like Sunderland and their fanbase bit reading that thread some of em have trumpets stuck up their anuses.
