Billy Sharp scored one similar to that last season. Can't remember the game but it was at the Bramall Lane end. Still, technically, distance, control etc., the Evans one is still better.

A Billy volley last season isn’t springing to mind immediately, but his volley against Leeds the season before was pretty tasty. Still prefer the Leon one though, can’t beat perfectly timed laces through the ball in the top corner before anyone realises he’s hit it.

The Duffy goal for me. Had seen us win there before but the joy in that moment was immense ( I’m the guy who gets wiped out on the front row wearing a white shirt which my lads thought was funny as well!) it also gave even more belief to the team and the the whole red side of the city. Never really looked back I don’t think. If 2020 is half as good as 2019 from a Blade perspective then I will be happy. Happy New Year all !

Still go with Evans though. Agree about putting the laces through, but the Evans one was played on the instep from a difficult height. It as a controlled shot as opposed to being hit.

Agree...will live in the memory forever......that’s why Mark “the bounce killer“ Duffy should always be revered at this club.
I watched that game at home.....it’s very rare that I’m running around the house like a lunatic when we score....but for that Duffy goal I lost it.

I loved the duffy goal bouncing day but, the Fleck goal v Villa was a thing of beauty the build up was world class and great finish.
