Just having a look at their prematch guff, and there's a little interview with Bettis, little insight into the club going into the window, aims etc, not exactly Question Time but I've typed it up quickly. Bettis in bold.

Alex: 3 years of continuous progression and you're making it look easy

Yeah I've been involved with the club for about 4 years now and we brought Chris in about 6 months into my tenure here. I mean I've been permanently hungover now for about 3 and a half years celebrating. It's been an amazing journey you know League One 100 points, first season in the championship where we kind of did well and solidified our position and then obviously last season the promotion and then the promised land of the Premier League it's just amazing.

Alex: And Chris Wilder's spoken about not resting on your laurels, it's a busy time for you now going in to January with the transfer market open again.

Yeah you know absolutely, I mean obviously Chris and myself, we're always looking to continuously improve the football club on and off the pitch and January is an opportunity to strengthen on the pitch and we've spoken. We've got an agreed budget and will look at doing stuff in January. January's always a difficult window, there's less choice and it's more expensive as well, and we don't need to panic - we're playing well, we don't have a huge amount of injuries but if the right players come we'll make a move for them and hopefully strengthen in January.

Michael Brown: Do you think the way the club is now that the infrastructure is in a much better place regarding ownership and longevity at this high level?

Yeah absolutely, I mean the club's in a great position. Every year we can stay in the Premier League we can keep solidifying that and keep improving the facilities, keep improving the first team training facilities as well and strengthening the squad, if we can stay up here for two or three years then we can become you know, I believe a club that sits comfortably within the league and that's the aim basically.

So sitting comfortably is the plan, when we in a European slot right now? Doubt that's Wilders plan.
