He is a manager of men and he can judge players who don"t need to cost £50m and much more.

He also speaks football and team talks in intelligible English and does not play to the armchair audience ( not too much anyway), no drama-queen , no pretence.

Simple S2 at it's best.

The multi-million pound foreign managers will not welcome him.

He bothers them. Sean Dyche toook it so far, our man plays sophisticated football.

Bizarre, as usual.

Was going to ask if you’ve been drinking. However thinking about it...you do have a point... my view is that you‘ve phrased you point slightly inaccurately.

Its not that Wilder is unwelcome...he receives plenty of favourable publicity....and many are saying he’s been great for the PL.
However I do agree that someone like Wilder in the PL is very much “out of fashion”.

It’s like he’s a pioneer....the general thinking is he has lower league players so it’s impossible for him to succeed....
suspect some are feeling uncomfortable about our success because it defies football logic of needing to spend multi millions to acquire a good team.
I suppose it’s all down to stereotyping.....deep down many still think we’re another Warnock/ Bassett team.
But even some of our own fans think it’s a fluke and our good run won’t last.

It's like the relative you choose to ignore...suddenly they squeak and make a noise, and the gullible member of the family takes every last letter as gospel.

Although I've got the OP on ignore it's not difficult to decipher the message......here we are, fifth best team in the country and someone still chooses to look for negatives when few are apparent........as has been said elsewhere, only in S2

Not read the post, still knows better. Only in S2

I said read not read.

Your welcome.
I read is it as read too. When you read read you have to read it in context as one read can be read as the other read.you can read read and think it's read .When it's really read. Then again you could alternatively read read as read.
Best not just assume its read when you've read its best to read it then read it as read.
I read it read it was read then it became clear

Read it again , its about the league, not the media, the managers not the fans.

Its about our man showing up his now-peers.

Get it?

Just read the o.p. and then tell everyone where your stated negatives are.

You've turned positives into negatives without reading it and then talk about 'certain relatives'.

WITHOUT READING THE POST. That is a new one.

I have often thought some on here are incapable of reading the written word.

The o.p. is a tribute to our manager and the way he is shaking up football in every boardroom in the top tier.

One member has not read the o.p. and has gone on record with comments based on replies which are from a certain quarter on here.

Look above to see a misinterpretation of simple English, a trashing of a tribute to my hero, Chris Wilder.

Some only read a thread title and this thread proves it.

I think Wilder and Sheff Utd are both heartily welcome in the Premier League by just about everyone, fans, pundits (most not all);), players. managers. It’s a refreshing change to see a team and manager with no prima donnas, playing good expansive football, no arrogance, no play-acting, being humble and respectful in defeat and victory.

Wilder has the respect of most, if not all, for what he’s achieved and how he’s achieved it. He comes over really well and he’s a fantastic ambassador for the club. He is self-effacing and modest and has a great sense of humour.

I’m sure you’ve got a point Woody about him possibly creating envy amongst some. But he conducts himself in such a way that only the most horrible jealous types would deny him his moment in the sun.

And that’s how they probably see it. A flash in the pan that won’t prevail. After all, he’s broken the mould hasn’t he?

He’s relied on what are perceived as lower division players and values like work ethic and team spirit to propel the club to great heights in the toughest division in the world. I’m sure some will expect this little “experiment” to fail at some point because it’s not normal for this level of football.

But to believe that is to underestimate the quality of the man and the players and staff he’s assembled around him.

I’d say there are far more admirers than critics. But his success will put others under the microscope for achieving less with more.

Long may it last!

I don't have the op on ignore and the only opinion that of the post I have is that it's the usual trash that isn't worth more of a comment*

*therefore, I won't be making any further.
