A point against an improving Watford and still having a positive goal difference on January 3rd and I'll be reasonably happy. A point will mean we have taken a very reasonable ten out of 15 points for the five games including Newcastle. If Man City and De Bruyne in particular are on song they are almost impossible to contain. I know Wilder would (rightly) disagree with me on that but this is a tough week ahead!

But these Blades are a so different, all sorts of records have been tumbling since CWAK took over(somoene else might be able to list them)So called bogey teams get brushed aside All that historical baggage is merely column inches now.We were always the nearly men but it is changed now because CWAK and this team are achievers.
We are all in dreamland,5th at Christmas but you know what I’m not entirely surprised which sounds incredible I know but this team are full of belief and after 3 years of having my pessimism crushed by this team well so am I.
We can get points in our next two away games.
One thing missing from our game was the quick break, the defence splitting long pass with the pace up front to make it work but now we have it which makes me confident we can soak up pressure at city and pool with our outstanding defence and hit em on the break or just football em to death 😃.

I get what you are saying in an any point is a good point kind of way but we should be looking to beat Watford and then working out how we contain/sneak something from one or both of the other two.

Don’t want to get ahead of myself but at the halfway point a europa spot is ours to grab

Watford are due a bad perfrmançe

If there is one thing that this season should have taught us so far it is to never try and second guess anything....none of us expected to be in 5th place at Christmas yet here we are.

Expect the unexpected......which means at Watford win on Boxing Day and a Didsy goal away in a 1-0 win at the Etihad followed by playing Liverpool off the park before having to settle for a 1-1 thanks to their customary 95th minute goal.

Owt could happen Blades, just enjoy the ride!

I doubt either Manchester City or Liverpool fancy playing a fifth placed team that hasn’t lost away.

Especially Citeh. They look like they are back to their attacking best but frail defensively.

If they don't score early against us I think they'll feel some pressure and make themselves vulnerable.
