Good point. Do have a big enough squad to compete though ? UTBIf we want Champions League qualification, yes.
Worry about that in the summerGood point. Do have a big enough squad to compete though ? UTB
It might cost us all threeThe addition of perhaps not anymore just cost us two points.

And they deserved something from Liverpool ( like us as well )One of the toughest games of the season coming up after watching them stuff Man Utd today. New Manager bounce again.

Have some Faith .... still 5th. UTBOr maybe 7th after today?? Useless blades
Watford showing decent form suggests something other than fan fallacyAnother fans’ fallacy, I’m afraid.

Brighton apparently were fantastic against Palace in the game immediately before they played us.
It’s all on the day. Always was; always will be.
Blades 7 Ipswich 0.
A week passes.
Crystal Palace 5 Blades 1.
Another fans’ fallacy, I’m afraid.
Take a point against Watford. They're in a false position and Pearson is the sort of hard-nosed porker who'll relish coming to the Lane.
The table doesn't show it but reckon one of the toughest games of the season on the horizon.
I love the fact this is fair and serious comment. If we want Champions League qualification, yes.
Not to forget that ALL teams have an off-day against us, so we'll be fine.
In all seriousness though. Watford for me are still in a false position. I think they're better than both Villa and Norwich. We can't be complacent against them.
Get the 3 points then we have two free-hits to some extent. 31 points by New Year would be truly magnificent. Then navigate through the turbulent month of January picking up whatever we can before we get back to a run of games where we can look to take some points again:
Palace (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Brighton (H)
Villa (A)
Norwich (H)
Newcastle (A)
17?We play all the other teams twice, Matt. So do the said other teams. We’ll finish where we deserve over the full season. It will be far higher than any of us thought and feared. This is no fluke. We won’t be “found out”. There’s no secret about to be discovered. No bubble about to burst. Astonishing though it may seem, we have a very fine team, well equipped for the Premiership and a top class management team. We’ll be playing 17 of this lot again next season. Bollocks to the other as yet unknown 3 who prove not good enough. For what it’s worth I think one of them might well be Bournemouth. Ultimately football teams, like water, find their level.
