Seems to get on really well with wilder too. Looks like he’s appreciating someone believing in him to give him a chance again - after his finding his chances limited in Bournemouth.

He must be feeling the love from the crowd and good that he’s fought his way to first choice here
 



Mr Wilder is a master at man management , Hendo makes a mistake and he's at him in front of the press because Chris knows how to spur him on and Hendo can take it . MOOOOSE on the other hand is the kind of player that need a hand around him and to be shown a bit of love , and because Chris has brought him on and he's also getting the love from the fans he's getting better every week . This is the Master at work after the spurs match ……..

The man is clearly loved by everyone at Utd ,I like the fact that besides being a top player he always has a smile on his face ,never seem him frown yet.

This image kind of sums him up for me.

He cost £10m yet hadn’t been playing much at Bournemouth, some people raised their eye brows at the signing.

Hes not a big time Charlie and when his chance came along he’s taken it.

Gratitude from a humble young lad that just wants to play football and score goals. First thing he did when he scored was run to Wilder
 
I must admit I was one of the eyebrow raisers , especially after seeing his poor goals per minute played record .

Now , however , the more I watch him the more I'm liking what I see . It's clear that Wilder and the back room staff have done a lot of work on him and that a bit of Blades Magic has rubbed off on him .

It looks like he can be a very important player for us and all those who were howling for someone young , French , black and pacy can now take a virtual bow . :)
 
I thought it was the most exciting signing we'd ever made after watching clips of his french career
I still don't think we've seen the best of him yet
 
He came to the prem in England for £5.4m when he was 20 years old. Compare this with Neal Maupay who came to the Champ in England for £1.6m a year later when he was almost 21.

At today's rates this shows what a great signing he was for the money we paid. Those who say we paid over the odds for McBurnie (and maybe we did, time will tell) should realise that sometimes what you lose on the swings you more than make up for on the roundabout!
 
I must be in the minority I saw a player in Lundstrum from the beginning, rated his allround game and realised that by being captain at Oxford
when only being 20 years old he must have a big character and strong leadership qualities.

I also saw logic in the Mouset signing, paying big money but he was rated as a hot prospect when Howe bought him but he was never given much of a chance at AFB.
Also to be fair to Howe he was never going to get a chance with 2 top strikers playing so well, in front of him.
When I saw Moose play against Blackburn in the cup I was very impressed, looked quicker and far more physical/ stronger than Sharp or McBurnie.
Mousets very presence (without doing anything) was causing panic/ nervousness to the Blackburn defence.

To be honest anyone young or joining a new club deserves respect and time to improve.
Been quite impressed with Freeman but Fleck has upped his standards in recent week and is now more attack focussed.
Not been impressed with McBurnie or Robinson but they work and seem to have a good attitude, also both are still young so they get my support for this season.
I’ll reserve my judgement on them until next season.
 



The last few weeks just shows how football can be full of surprises.

Who would have thought that McGoldrick and Mousett would look so good and be the first choice pairing.
Who would have thought that McBurnie would have been so underwhelming, works hard and still young so cut him some slack.
and who‘d have thought Sharp wouldn’t have started a game, although to be fair to Sharp he has looked decent when he’s come on.

He's some player. Even when he's off it his physical attributes ensure defenders can't switch off for a minute or they'll be punished. If he puts his head down & keeps working away at his fitness & he has the potential to reach the top.

In the meantime, Wilder will probably consider resting him at home to Watford. They're likely to sit deep & allow us possession. A game perhaps more suited for McBurnie? We will definitely need him away at City & Liverpool so I think this would be wise.

Sticking on the theme of the post though, he does genuinely seem a lovely lad. A bit daft, but heart of gold.

Poor lad. Which cruel sod asked him to do this when his English is so limited. I felt for the lad the last time he was interviewed. Fair play to him for agreeing to do it and for having a go. He comes across as so down to earth and humble. Much like when he is on the pitch I thought he was very good.

His English seems much better in the behind the scenes vids.

If roles were reversed I’d be the same though - just plough on with my best attempt at French when talking to mates, but then if you put cameras on me I’d start shitting myself worrying if I was conjugating my verbs, and sexing objects correctly.
