What you fail to understand is it's a thread comparing two players and their potential impact for US. Not whether Mcburnie at Sheffield United or Maupay at Brighton will do better. Maupay would probably be on our bench like Mcburnie so he would have less goals than in your team.

Maupay and McBurnie are totally different players but the similarity is the fee was roughly the same. Mousset was arguably the alternative to Maupay and that's not worked out too bad. As for McBurnie, he offers us something totally different, whereas I think in Mousset we've got a similar player for half the cost. I do really like Maupay and I was desperate for us to sign him in the summer but I'm over the moon that we signed McBurnie.
