With there win at Leicester they are 3 points behind us with 2 games in hand If Cardiff slip up again forget Blackpool, Middlesborough and Coventry. Reading could be the one that pipped us to 6th.

I was looking at them creeping up the rails last night. If they win their two games in hand over everyone they will be 7th and in with a shout. Good luck to them because they've been on a remarkable run and have surprised me a lot as I thought they were a spent force.
The fact that they were 23rd at Christmas/New Year and are now breathing down United's neck is just shameful from our point of view.

Oh yes a big middle finger from Brian. You can be sure if they got in they'd take the prize and the nice big Cheque. We had a simlar discussion at work yesterday. It's invariably the team finishing with a rattle that takes the prize at Wembley.
Brian Howard back again eh !

Cardiff this time last season http://www.sufc.co.uk/page/LeagueTable/0,,10418~20090322,00.htmlBugger me that optomistic. We will not be pipped for 6th, we will be some 5 or 6 points off.
Pipped for 6th implies that we will miss oout by a point, or GD. (IMHO)

I live in hope
I don't think we need to worry about being pipped, to be pipped would suggest that we're in with a chance....
Its a mathmatical chance and thats fading game by game
Do you really want us to make the play-offs, with this team and this manager ?
It's invariably the team finishing with a rattle that takes the prize at Wembley.
Unless, of course, that team is us. Every rule needs its exception.
