It's not like we have huge holes in our team right now, and if we're having a good december we have virtually clinched survival anyway. Might as well develop this team, check who we have to move on from next season and invest in quality players.

I suspect there will be enough cash to bring in a RCB to replace Bash come next summer/cover him and possibly a young RWB to cover Baldock. I guess it depends how the new signings we haven't see are doing (like Osbourn for Stevens). We must also be looking ahead at a long-term cover for Egan, if someone becomes available.

I'd also expect us to loan a centre midfielder to via with the three encumbrances.

I don't expect to see much business
