I’m getting really hacked off

The abuse some are giving McBurnie, especially on Facebook is totally unfair. I’ve seen players singled out for abuse before, only to make complete fools of the abusers.
Lunstram and Coutts are good examples.
For me if Wilder thinks he’s good enough then that’s enough for me. Abusing players helps no one especially when it’s so misplaced.
I'd give you 50 likes if it were possible, like I said last week pig fans put some blades to shame. I left one particular FB page because of the utter bollocks spouted on there at McBurnie it's a fucking disgrace, some using that page also post on this forum too ...................... you know who you are!

Don't get it at all. As I've just posted on another thread, he's scored two goals for us that required absolutely outstanding technique. I'm not sure anybody else at the club scores either of them.

He'll do for me. We should be celebrating the fact he's being kept out of the starting eleven by a brilliant partnership rather than anything specifically lacking in his own game. I think he's absolutely spot-on and will prove to be a great signing 🤷‍♂️

I'm far from convinced by McB. He doesn't seem enthusiastic or fast enough. Seems to react a bit too late, too often.
But, there is absolutely no reason for abuse. We all have different opinions. Have some belief that CWAK know what they're doing, and give McB chance to develop into the team.

It might not be fair, maybe should give him time - but I just don't enjoy watching Oli McB

I love McGoldrick's movement and think he's exciting to watch. Whereas I look at Oli McB and think - Where are you going? What are you trying to do? Don't get him as a player

Brighton - now I see it!
In our game of complex movement he often looked lost - but give him a ball to chase and he looks the dog's bollocks.

And looking stronger than earlier in the season when he was getting pushed off the ball. I reckon he'll do

Videos uploaded to Youtube showed him in the gym doing special training to build up both upper body strength and power + pace. It should have been obvious to everyone that this lad was/still is work-in-progress and it's foolish and naive to write players off so easily. Wilder sees every player as work-in-progress, and every footballer drawing a salary plus bonuses should see themselves that way too - right up to the day they retire.
