Due to being either blind or suffering from dementia I still have 7 cans of tuna and sunflower oil unused and of no use. If I could find a fucking food bank they could have them.

In my experience it’s a myth anyway.

A couple of my Iraqi colleagues went home for the weekend today and I said I’d see them when I was back on 28th December. Straight away they said “Merry Christmas”

I agree, have worked with lots of Muslims and a myth in my experience as well.

Used to be a tradition one place I worked to bring in food and booze on Christmas Eve and have a bit of a party, and our Muslim colleagues used to get right in on it (though not the booze obv.) and brought in the best grub of all, which ran out long before the pork pies and sausage rolls

Same here. Just as wish them a Happy Eid and the guys who are Hindu a Happy Diwali.

The whole thing is a Tabloid myth. But it winds certain people up who buy them so they'll keep purpetuating the myth. It's very sad
