Robinson on Saturday

I think that’s the first time under Wilder that I’ve seen a lazy performance from someone. I’m being charitable excluding some of Madine’s efforts and Clarke often looked languid, but that’s just his style.

But Robinson simply was not putting the effort in on Saturday and he was lucky to make it past half time. We’re not a team that can take passengers effort-wise unless they score a lot of goals.

Looks low on confidence and I feel for the lad, but he has some talent. He just needed to cover more ground, put some tackles in and look more up for it. He was easy to deal with for them and rightly hooked.

Tin hat on. No I’m not writing him off/furthering an agenda/getting on his back for the sake of it :)

Good post and very surprising, if true. Still looked extremely uninterested the entire game. Everyone I spoke to said the same.

Confirmation bias?

There was a woman behind me who was obsessed with how 'lazy' Robinson was. After he'd gone off, McGoldrick looked like he was going in for a header but rightly pulled out at the last minute. She started screaming "brilliant McGoldrick, Robinson wouldn't have gone in for that". She was so determined to believe that McGoldrick was working harder than Robinson that what actually happened didn't matter to her at all.

Heard one lad on the phone after saying "we were better after that fucking spastic Robinson went off". Can't comprehend that level of hatred towards one of our own.

I certainly would never use language like that.

And it isn’t hatred for me at all. I think Robinson has some talent, but he was out of his depth and not putting it in during that game from the naked eye. Wilder had clearly had enough as well when he hooked him straight after that duffed cross. There’s some merit to the theory that he’s more of a winger but we don’t play with any.

Maybe they contacted West Ham because they saw him doing nowt and it said he hadn’t :)

Or condone that level of language.

Seems typical of the village idiots what follow our team, he's probably one of those numskulls who think it's ok to stand in gangways at our away matches as well.

Probably someone who has never kicked a ball in his life.

And still gets his pants and socks washed by his mum, who cooks and cleans for him, whilst he sits in a darkened room of an evening, the one next to mummy and daddy's and rubs his wee wee hole while playing Xbox or watching babestation.

I can certainly believe Robinson puts the running in, he’s not the type to be lazy. I do wish he’d put himself about a bit more and impose himself though! However it’s dressed up his performance at West Ham wasn’t a good one - I think he gave it away far too often and contributed to us being on the back foot. On the flip side, his performance second half at Chelsea was excellent 🤷🏾‍♀️ Definitely a player in there but I’d have no idea how to get the best out of him.

I think he's still in awe of the premiership, pre match warm up v spurs and he's got his phone filming the stadium

You'd think people would have learned after what's happened with Lundstrum. Used to get so much stick last season and now look at him. Actually embarassing some of the tweets you see directly slagging off certain players. Back them ffs.

That sounds like a pretty fantastic life to be fair 😂
