Many of the lads have injury problems and others are just are not putting the effort in because they were the best available at the time.
 
Why the other ten players on the pitch can't play to S.Quinns strengths is beyond me. They're all shit and dropped on saturday apart from the magnificent Quinn.

Ched's a player who is still developing. Passing and moving will come with time. These bench and 10 minute appearance are doing him the world of good and we're delighted with his contribution this season.

I asked the players for a reaction after the Palace game, and despite this being the 16th reaction I'm looking for this season, I believe we will get it tonight.

Players are still learning what they need to do to play for this club. People like Nosworthy, Kallio, Evans, Camara, Cresswell, even though they've played/play for bigger clubs they are still learning.

These players aren't good enough. I don't want people pulling out of tackles. I'm going to have to get rid/loan them out to a manager who can utilise their ability which they showed before we signed them.

The wage bill at Peterborough is phenomenal. Seth, you can't expect us to compete?

So, what if we only had 1 shot? We absolutely battered them. Sod the stats and the fact we lost, we were amazing.

It's the toughest job I've ever had. I mean, against Palace on Saturday we had one shot yet I only had Ward, Cresswell, Evans and Camara at my disposal. I am the hardest done manager, no, sorry, hardest done to person in the history of life.

Seth when you come to play a side thats fighting for its life you know your going to find it difficult, every team in this division, even the ones who cant win for toffee can beat anyone on their day.
 
I can't guess the excuse as my random generator is bust right now but I can easily predict the appearance. He'll look flustered, be moving back and forth and will have a face like someone's just shoved a cucumber up his arse. He'll reply it short answers and get a bit shitty with the interviewer.

You drop 'in form and scoring goals striker' Camara for some 'help it on' little ginger tosser last Saturday. How then can you not give different instructions?
 
Ok Seth, I admit it now live on radio, I am clueless. I should have signed half decent replacements for the good players that have been sold. I think that playing Stewart and Quinn is good enough. I play players totally out of position when I have players to fit that position on the bench or not even in the squad. I play dire, unattractive football and intend to leave my post forthwith and let speedo have a chance. Lets just hope I haven't crushed all the enthusiasm, professionalism and quality out of him.

The correct answer is? There is no excuse for tonight. Just like there is no excuse for the season, other than the fact that if you genuinely expected more than we're currently getting dished up then you were sadly mistaken or extremely gullible when we started the campaign.

We had a bullshitter extraordanaire at the helm, he's still there making his millions, we had a tit of a manager who failed last season, and who's failing in an even bigger way this time out and we had a piss poor squad. Now I know some of you were wetting yourselves at the signing of Evans, you were comparing squads against those of previous seasons and mysteriously predicting that we'd be stronger well fuck me, now's the time to get a grip on reality. We were never going to do well this season, we had nothing bar good attendances to crow about so let's not act too suprised, we're shit and we know we are................well some of us do, have done for a long time and as painful as it is to admit that, it does hurt a lot less when nights like tonight aren't unexpected.

Should he choose to deign to speak to Seth, he will be aggressive and certainly on the defensive, undoubtedly 'the pitch is to blame, we are a skillfull footballing side unable to play on a ploughed field' or you cant fault the effort of the players, it just didnt work for us tonight' or indeed any or all from the other posts.

Whist I didnt go, it sounded dreadful on radio sheffield. Glad I am unable to attend on Saturday.

its this kind of woeful performance that every club needs just when it is asking cash strapped supporter to give them hundreds of pounds to have the pleasure of watching it all again next season. it could only happen at the Blades.

I can`t understand it , i`m the greatest tactical goalkeeper that ever played for scarborough, the fans don`t realise what a wealth of footballing experience i picked up at Middlesex wanderers & Boston. Sheffielders have no sense, they think back to that Currie bloke but he were crap, could he kick the ball 50yards!!, well yes he could i admit, but he`d place it at the feet of a colleague, pah, what`s the point of that, whistling it down the neck of your forwards that`s football.

You don`t know how bloody lucky you are to have me & same at the helm

Whilst I think something needs to change, what do you think to his actual footballing qualifications in comparison to other managers?

It's simply untrue that his only experience is being a lower league goalkeeper.
 
i've said for many months that poor football (i wouldn't stoop to call it even hoofball.. it isn't hoofball.. we used to do that and it was more interesting than this shite) will get you by if you get the results because the 'ooh but we're fifth' monkeys will always outnumber the 'it were better under john harris' monkeys like me.. now the results aren't going, the goodwill has gone and now were in meltdown.

You can qualify as a driving instructor, doesn't make you a good driver though.

It matters not whether he has coaching badges galore or not, the proof is on the pitch for all to see, he isn't up to the job.
