Playing in the Norwood position is his natural role, it's where he played at Oxford, it's where he caught Chris Wilder's eye. I'm convinced that the Lunny we see now, can play that role, maybe not quite the passing range of Norwood, but better defensively.

Surprised you're referencing his time at Oxford in League 1/2 as being the best indicator of where his future lies. He's literally playing the best football of his life now, as a box to box player... in the Prem.

We need to get Hendo in PERMANENTLY. Sod fucking him back off to Manure where Ole (and then Poch) won't even consider him for the bench.

Think we need to get behind Moore on Sunday. The lads bound to feel a bit nervous as it's his chance to shine in a massive game. He's had stick on here before but I've seen much worse between the sticks for us. Besides, if the defenders play to the usual standards, he'll have nowt to do.

It means that you're a very very big Blade.

Norwood protects the defence thanks more to his brain than his physical capabilities. His game's heavily balanced in favour of technical ability and intelligence. Any physical ability lost would be less damaging. And with regular PL football I don't he'd be any worse age 30/31. I think that'll be his peak.

Met him at the Chesterfield game and Norwood has the smallest torso of any grown man I’ve met in my entire life.

I struggle to understand how he fits all his organs in it.

Bash is fine right now but I hope when a replacement becomes necessary it'll be by Kyle Walker in about 12-18 months if we consolidate in the PL- the ideal candidate.
