Was curious to see if we played 3-4-1-2 against Blackburn with Ravel in the hole behind Sharp and McBurnie. Team sheet suggests otherwise?
Inherent problem he has here is he's not a Lundstram. He's a Duffy. And while we play 3-5-2, he's not going to get in unless he finds something different to his game. I know he didn't do much in his 13 mins against Leicester for me to judge if we had changed shape. Anyone else care to comment on this?
Anyhow, I hope he's not already fallen by the wayside. The Inside Shirecliffe training videos the club are posting on YouTube at the moment have the odd Ravel clip in, and he seems in high enough spirits in those. I'm sure he'll probs get a run-out in 3rd round of the FA cup provided it's not pigs, and will probably see some PL action again in the new year if Wilder has already given him a nibble while he's not fully up to speed.
