I was in H that night. Loads of Burberry boys pushing regular fans out of there seats, and then singing about people dying in Istanbul.

Yep, with the reputation of a certain section of the Leeds support, there was always going to be that kind of shite.

"My voice has gone - I don't care..!"

Paul Walker - Legend!

Yep, won 1-0 in the FA Cup.

Kabba scored.

Danny Mills was sent off for Leeds but then the referee realised he'd given a second booking to the wrong player.

Bit different to the Revie era when Leeds used to beat us all the time, one notable exception when Hodgy got injured and Woodward went in goal in 1967. They even beat us twice on Easter Monday and Tuesday one year, as well as the cup. I went to every bloody game , and got clipped on their kop for my pains.

Roles reversed now. I used to really really hate Leeds

Gave LS5 Blade a lift back up to Leeds after and dog-legged past Elland Road on my way back home....just as their coaches were pulling up.

Thus was stage set for the earliest every recordings of #bantz

Remember both those Easter games, went with my dad to Elland Road and we lost 0-2 on Monday - I was upset so my dad said 'never mind we'll beat them at the Lane tomorrow' and I believed him (cos my dad said so :))
Well we lost that second game 0-4, Leeds had a great side in the Revie era

As for the Woody in net game, fantastic although the Leeds fans behind us on the kop were morons

a good friend of mine crushed his glasses as we were all jumping around on the kop Celebrating, what a night!
followed by Udlovu's goal and more jumping up and down like crazy, before the miserable bastards, started breaking the away end, the cunts that they are!

H Block at full throttle that night
There’s a good clip on YouTube from some police documentary of that night.

I was only 12 at the time and was perched on the Streetwise Corner (as it was known then), but remember how raucous it looked. It’s was probably the first time I’d experienced a big night match at the Lane (missed the Coventry semi final) and it was a totally different beast to the run-of-the mill home Saturday game. I was both a bit scared and excited.

Me too - but nowt to play it on!
Get a plug in CD drive for your computer. You can play through it and ‘rip’ them - turn them into digital media to put on your phone etc
