hindsight is 20/20!Brilliant thread to look back on and laugh.
I have said before, everybody is entitled to an opinion but maybe Wilder & his staff have earned enough good credit that we dont even bother to question them!
I always wonder if/what players and managers think when reading comment like above.
Be ironic if Lunny turned down that new contract.....

Would we really be any worse defensively with McGoldrick and Robinson playing behind a striker?
More possession. More threat. More outlets. More bodies to defend from the front.
Or are we better with Lundstram hurtling about lunging into tackles he never makes? McGoldrick wins more challenges than him.
Maybe not.

Everyone should carry on overreacting and saying whatever they want. It's a football forum and it's a much more enjoyable and entertaining place when we all say what we actually think. We might be wrong but why does that even matter? You don't get points for being eventually proven sort of right by kind of backing something but not really

Oh no, I can bet my bottom dollar you were excited at the fact.
And didn't want to see him replaced by a more proven quality player, be it Championship or PL...
Because a (at best) bit part Championship player starting the season for us in a less than impressive (at the time) midfield setup was clearly what you wanted and excited you greatly. Wind it in.

My opinion was that he deserves to be given the chance if Wilder picks him. Think you need to take a seat and chill out.

I remember Wilder saying when we signed him something about him needing to run about more and put tackles in, and that he should be capable of it. That's exactly what's happened and that's where he's developed.
He seemed like a pet project that was unlikely to succeed, due to lack of suitability more than anything else, but it's succeeded more than they could have realistically expected.
