I couldn't believe how weak they were at times. When they showed the highlights on the screen at half-time I was counting up how many of our players were unmarked whenever we got forward. I don't remember the exact number, but it was all of them.

Same for second half when McGoldrick nicked the ball leading up to the Sharp chance. They can moan about whether it was a foul or not but it was piss weak from their lad to get outmuscled there. From all I've heard about Burnley, they allowed us so much space in behind them.

Take nothing away from how good we were in that first half (remember we did the same to Arsenal) but if I were a Burnley fan I'd be livid at how they got bullied out the game early on and then utterly run over.

I understand the OP's frustration, but you must understand we ALWAYS play a team about to hit a 90 minute loss of form. They've known this in S. Barnsley for ages.

It's the only reason we got promoted, a kind fixture list, just like when I used to play cricket and that twat of a captain I had kept sending me in to bat in the middle of a hat-trick.

Well said. I don't want to sound like an arrogant so and so but I also nailed my colours to the mast very early and said that we had absolutely nothing to worry about in this league.

There’s nothing cocky about expecting a good football team with a fantastic team spirit and a great manager to do well. I think I predicted 10-12th place. I’ll stick with that for now but if we add more quality in Jan we could realistically be looking at finishing where we are now.

Shame Final Score forgot our match was happening as they were too busy masturbating at the prospect of Liverpool and Man City losing. We barely got a mention in the second half and Dion Dublin was cut off mid sentence when he tried to talk about us.

I get how it's used as an excuse. The irony isn't lost on me!

But if ever there were a game where that statement would be true, it's this one. They're an established Premier League side who are known for making things tough for teams, and they were shite.
